Funguys Swarm is a cartoony survivor bullet hell where the forest is on fire. Become a Funguy, arm yourself with forest-crafted weapons, and unleash some bonkers powers on the Fireking’s army. And maybe... just maybe, save the day if you’re skilled (or lucky) enough.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 25 → 17.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Funguys Swarm is a survivor-style roguelite where you play as forest weirdos fighting the Fire King’s flaming minions. Level up, unlock new heroes, pets, skills—even mechas—and rescue creatures to grow your Forest Sanctuary for permanent upgrades. Perfect for both newcomers and seasoned survivors!

Choose from a cast of silly funguys, each with their quirky charm and unique abilities. Whether you like getting up close and personal or prefer to keep things tactical from afar, there’s a funguy for every playstyle.

Face off against never-ending waves of flaming minions, mutated veggies, and things that probably shouldn’t be on fire. The longer you last, the weirder—and wilder—it gets.

Grab upgrades mid-run and stack chaotic, over-the-top powers that turn your goofy forest friend into a full-blown nature-powered menace.

A weapon to surpass the m.... menace of the fire king! Powered by the forest and questionable engineering. It probably shouldn’t work, but it does.

Every now and then, the swarm throws a tantrum and sends in a giant boss. They're huge, unpredictable, and almost always on fire. Oh yeah, did I mention that there's even a bigger baddie at the end of each arena?

Fret not, you have the forest backing you up in the Sanctuary, a place where you can upgrade your powers to be more ridiculous than it is right now... for the right price of course!
Initial early access release includes:

why no restart match option? But only to give up or return to title with your unskipable animation that takes forever?

Garlic hammer is the most ridiculous weapon ever created. You need to stand still while hammering, and then you're the one taking the blow, not the creep.
Downs: I am not a big fan of how the game influences you heavily into certain playstyles even before starting the game, like the characters bonus pushing you to play nature, rock, water etc... I'd prefer to launch a game and potentially make a new build every game and have the bonuses (Ersa shield, Nutcase dash bonus etc) be tied to the skill sets/archetype themselves rather than the characters. Same things with the cards unlock, I'd rather unlock them by completing the levels and their difficulty, rather than having to find and do very specific things like completing a level with said character and said skill leveled up, unlock said mutation with said skills X amount of times etc etc... , again forcing you to play a certain way and is a bit tedious. Otherwise, the Shroom, Sanctuary pond and weapons unlock feels way more natural and straightforward to do, would like to be the case for those other skills and passive unlock aswell. Optimisation is ok, fps and responsiveness are struggling a bit mid game the more enemy there is, but it's not too bothering. The Primal leap dash build feels way too powerful, basicly invincible when properly built, which is not too hard to do. Ups: Art direction is cool, lots of fun skills and upgrades, the gameplay is more interactive than vampire survivor where you have weapons and dashes with other skills giving mobility options, rather than just moving without doing anything. Levels are cool, enemy diversity is very nice, bosses are good. Except Primal leap, the game feels balanced well enough. Other than that, the game is pretty cheap and very much worth the price, and all criticism done above is because I like the game and it has potential. I'm not a game designer, and my complaints may be nonsensical and just a me problem; maybe those designs are tied to the game and/or genre, but those kinds of things can push me away from enjoying the game more.
Play it! It's fun, guys! *badump~tsss!*
I'm not a fan of Vampire Survivor or brotato so i'm not a fan of this type of games, i bought it mostly for coral island, however this isn't a bad game and you can have some short fun in it, for the price around 5 euros i'd say it's worth it if your into this type of games, but at writing of this review the achievements are disabled to keep in mind, and i think the game would be more addictive if there was achievements also to work towards.
