Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Frozen Synapse 2 is a niche tactical experience. It's one of its kind and even though this still is in a Beta condition it was well worth my time. The gameplay loop can get repetitive during city gameplay, is incomplete and there is the occaisional crash. The game had limitless potential and it is sad to see it beeing discontinued allthough for understandable reasons. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Frozen Synapse as this iteration comes with many improvements in comparison.
Ужасно! Три года прошло с момента последнего обновления, и игра вылетает когда завершаешь ход. Ни поиграть, ни деньги вернуть. Ну и качество графики какое-то мыльное. Первая часть на веки в моем сердце, а это, увы, нет.

This game evolved fantastically from the original Frozen Synapse. It resembles the same game play, while incorporating enough additions to make sure it was unique and still interesting to play. There could be more guides on how to make everything work to one's benefit, but playing through the game you will eventually learn.
This is still one of the best games ever for some, like myself, even if myself, I'm glad I had it in me life!
Слишком много ошибок Очень много недоработок Нет обновлений Игра заброшена За игру просят 500 рублей, это слишком Не покупайте игру, ну или готовьтесь к аду
Frozen Synapse 2 is a tactical strategy game developed and published by Mode 7 that significantly expands upon the foundation established by its predecessor. Rather than limiting players to a sequence of standalone tactical engagements, the game introduces a dynamic, procedurally generated cyberpunk city where military operations, territorial control, and political influence become interconnected. Set within the sprawling metropolis of Markov Geist, the experience combines meticulous squad-based combat with strategic decision-making on a much larger scale. The result is an ambitious blend of turn-based tactics and sandbox campaign management that encourages players to think beyond individual firefights and consider the long-term consequences of every move they make. The signature simultaneous-turn combat system remains the heart of the experience and continues to deliver some of the most satisfying tactical gameplay in the genre. Instead of reacting in real time, players carefully plan every movement, firing angle, and action before both sides execute their commands simultaneously. This creates tense encounters where victory depends on anticipating enemy behavior rather than simply responding faster. The ability to preview plans before committing encourages experimentation and rewards careful planning, while mistakes can quickly snowball into disastrous outcomes. Every successful operation feels earned because the game consistently challenges players to predict opposing strategies and adapt accordingly. One of the game's biggest innovations is its living campaign structure. The city functions as more than just a backdrop, featuring multiple independent factions that pursue their own goals and compete for influence. Players can establish operational bases, recruit specialized units, gather intelligence, and forge relationships with various organizations while uncovering the larger conflicts shaping the city. Missions emerge naturally from this evolving world instead of following a rigid linear progression, allowing every campaign to unfold differently. Procedural generation enhances replayability, ensuring that each new playthrough presents fresh strategic situations, shifting alliances, and unique opportunities to approach objectives from different angles. Combat itself benefits from a wider selection of equipment and tactical options than before. New weapons, specialized gear, and environmental features encourage creative strategies that extend beyond simply finding the best firing position. Urban battlefields feature obstacles, destructible cover, vehicles, vegetation, and varied terrain that influence movement and visibility, making positioning even more critical. Additional mechanics, including systems designed to predict enemy movement and conceal troop intentions, deepen the psychological element of combat. These features create battles that reward patience, planning, and clever deception while making each encounter feel distinct from the last. Outside the single-player campaign, Frozen Synapse 2 offers multiplayer modes that preserve the deliberate pace and strategic depth the series is known for. Traditional asynchronous matches allow players to analyze situations without time pressure, creating thoughtful contests where every decision matters. Faster alternatives are also available for those seeking shorter sessions without sacrificing tactical complexity. Combined with highly replayable scenarios and the endless variety generated by different player strategies, the multiplayer component provides long-lasting value for fans who enjoy competitive tactical games. Visually, the game embraces a clean futuristic aesthetic that emphasizes functionality over visual excess. The streamlined interface makes it easy to evaluate complex situations, while the cyberpunk presentation effectively supports the game's atmosphere without distracting from its mechanics. The electronic soundtrack complements the tense planning phases and dramatic firefights, helping establish a distinct identity for the world of Markov Geist. Although the visuals prioritize clarity instead of cutting-edge graphical effects, they successfully communicate the information players need while maintaining an appealing science fiction style. Frozen Synapse 2 is not designed for players seeking immediate accessibility or constant action. Its systems demand patience, careful observation, and a willingness to learn a substantial number of mechanics before everything comes together. However, those who invest the time will discover a remarkably deep strategy game that successfully combines large-scale campaign management with exceptionally rewarding tactical combat. By expanding every aspect of the original formula instead of merely refining it, Mode 7 has created an experience that stands apart from most modern strategy titles. While its complexity may limit its appeal to casual players, fans of thoughtful tactical gameplay will find an engaging and highly replayable experience that continues to reward mastery over dozens of hours. Rating: 7/10
I love Mode 7, but this is fairly buggy and made more frustrating by poor UX design and lacking design around contracts, how reputation works, etc.
7/10 Pros: Cyber punk aesthetic Immersive tactical gameplay Cons: Frequent crashes Screen freezes when a rocket explodes
they fixed it. you should play it. soundtrack is a banger, as per usual.
