About
Frozen Ship is an open-world survival game where you manage an entire city on wheels. Building, crafting, research, medicine, resource gathering, and hunting — you decide what your people will do and how your city will develop.
As the workday begins, you leave the ship alongside everyone else and set out to explore the frozen world. Gather resources, explore abandoned settlements, complete quests, and encounter other survivors.
A journey through cold, hunger, danger, political intrigue, and conflicts between settlements awaits you in a world that no longer forgives mistakes.
You are the captain of the ship.
After a global catastrophe that forever changed the planet's climate, you lead an expedition aboard a massive ship capable of crossing the endless snowy wastelands. There is a crew of 20 people, several buildings, supplies, and hope to find a new place to live. Every decision you make affects the fate of your crew and the outcome of the entire mission.
The Living and Dangerous World
Beyond the ship, you'll find a procedurally generated open world filled with dangers and stories:
Predators and deadly enemies
Hunting, searching for, and gathering resources
Firearms, diplomatic, and armed conflicts
Abandoned hospitals, shops, homes, railways, and entire cities
The world changes from game to game, creating new situations, routes, and challenges.
Settlements, Factions, and Conflicts
On your journey, you will encounter survivor settlements — small towns, each with their own rules, problems, and visions for the future.
Friendly and hostile settlements
Factions involved in prolonged conflicts and those simply trying to survive
Stories of survivors, lore, main and side quests
Will you align with a particular faction or try to maintain a balance between all of them — the choice is yours.
Your actions can shift the balance of power, determine the fate of entire communities, and perhaps influence the future of humanity.
Ship and Crew Management
Your ship is more than just a means of transport — it is a mobile base and home for the entire expedition:
Transform the ship into a living city with its own infrastructure
Build and upgrade buildings necessary for living and survival
Craft items and equipment
Research technologies
Enact laws and impose necessary restrictions
Assign crew members to work inside the ship or gather resources
Keep an eye on your crew’s well-being: illnesses, fatigue, fear, and faith in the expedition’s success — everything matters.
Trade and Survival
In the world of Frozen Ship, resources mean life:
Make deals to ensure survival
Sell found items
Buy rare gear and supplies
Complete quests for traders
Sometimes, a successful deal can save the expedition, while a mistake could lead to disaster.
Every decision you make impacts the fate of your crew.
Who to entrust the important tasks, who to send on dangerous expeditions, and how to keep the team united in the face of eternal cold — the choices are yours.

It wasn't for me, mostly I was bored by the locations in the game being overly similar, it just didn't engage me.
Expected something a bit different from the trailer. Better to read the game description. It’s a mix of ship management and survival. Interesting idea, waiting for new patches.

Game is grimm and interesting ,BUT...i don't really understand how am i supposed to play it. Suplies run out instantly, gathering takes enormous amount of time and i am sorry 30kg backpack capacity where 15 is busy by your clothing and couple of tools, are you serious???The amount of produced resources is pathetic,my group exiles me 3 times in a row during the quest day ,even though i stretched my ass to find every single animal to kill amd brought them 40 wood.Game is cool but needs a lot of balance updates .Also would be nioce to have a scale of citizens hatred .(and i am sorry exiling the captain is the worst thing you could come up with). If citizens are such a crybabies-Let them go why da f i can be exiled by bots which i don't rvrn see?!
Very bareboned, but it has the same feeling of TLD when you stand outdoors and listen to the wind and watch the snow fall. At the moment its a bit buggy and feels quite lonely although there's a crew thats supposedly running the ship. Would love if you could actually see some people go out and about so it'll feel less lonely. Do I recommend it? 50/50. I've missed another TLD-esque game with winter apocalyptic theme and this hits the spot quite well, but with that said there's not a whole lot to do. A lot of grinding and sometimes it feels like the ship goes too fast to be able to actually check around POIs, would like to be able to hit stop for just a few ING hours so you dont have to stress. It has the heart, now lets see how the studio handles fixing the rest of the body.
Almoust everytime location is the same. Nothing change dramaticaly. For me is to boring. Game is also to hard to play. Something is also wrong with mechanics in game. I dedicated 12 workers to gather raw food. But still next day, there was not enough food. And the HOPE going still down. I expected more. More unique missions. Less empty nothing with only few houses. Like be able to gather firearm. To find something new on every mission. Why in game are not frozen peoples? And also expected more detailed textures. We are living in 2026. So i expected more details. Trees looks like not finished work from student who was on his first class of game development.
Great potential, but missing core gameplay. The character controls are really poor. You need to hold an interaction button for a second, then wait another few seconds for the progress bar to complete. Why? Why do you punish gameplay so much? It's core - run around and loot and you make it painful. I hope the devs will follow some playtesting feedback and improve a game. For now it's a skip. Long dark & Frostpunk combo that is not working either well from both perspectives.
Unfortunately, this game wasn't for me. Got boring really fast and just didn't grip me like I thought it would.
