So far this is one of my favorite Horizon games, and could easily be my favorite with a couple small changes. The map is beautiful and flows so well with a nice blend of straights and gentle curves, more technical mountain roads and dedicated tracks, and a surprisingly large amount of dirt roads perfect for rally. Whatever they did to the physics works so well driving is still overall very arcady but it's much closer to the nonhorizon forza games, this is the first Horizon game I've actually enjoyed using my sim wheel on and the first one that I've actually noticed a difference between driving when its raining or not. The main drawbacks for me are the customization got worse and basically every race needed to unlock more wristbands is over restricted imo. For customization they've seemingly removed a lot of bodykits from cars you'd think would have them and given a lot to cars you'd think wouldn't. Plus they've made forza aero so much worse imo, if they wanted to add the gooseneck so bad they could've atleast given us the option to use the old design on too. For the races I'm about halfway through getting all the bands and it feels like I've had a single anything goes race plus a hand full of just PI based races. Every other race has been locked behind some random category plus PI because of this by the second band I basically stopped tuning cars for races and started buying random stock cars that I'll never use except for when that category pops up again. I'd much rather have races just limited by PI with a couple actual event races and some seasonal events be locked to a category, half of the fun I had in previous games was any time I unlocked new races with higher PI requirements I'd get a car I liked and tune it for a certain race type for that PI level. Over all this games still a massive improvement over FH5, really just those two things that hold it back a little in my eyes. solid 8/10 game
