About

Utilise weapons, armour, abilities, alchemy ingredients, traps and anything else you can lay your hands on within an entirely classless character progression system.
Whether you want to be a nimble-footed archer flinging fireballs between arrows or face your foes, toe to toe as an axe-wielding whirlwind of death; the choice is yours.

The Vale of Vahrin is beset by threats from both within and without, the perfect place for a mercenary in search of their next contract.
Rival mercenaries, bandits, monstrous beasts and even hideous creatures infest the Vale of Vahrin, ready and waiting for their bounties to be claimed.
Master intense real-time action combat and adapt to every challenge, ensuring that no enemy, no matter how powerful, can stand in your way.

Aid the survivors in their personal tales of grief, love and even humour, as they fight back against the overwhelming odds facing Vahrin.
Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.

Really nice Indie game. Defintly worth it
when i'm under mine,i 'm happily explore in it,then my CPU temp near 90℃, PC suddenly turn off itself, after reboot i found my save file all lost even with steam cloud saves, you guys better fix this if it's a BUG.and my PC's CPU temp usually around 70℃ but in some scene it's around 85℃ and the fan running at full speed,it's really annoying。so despite game has good art style reminds me of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, but combat system is bit clumsy plus RPG system is bit shallow, and why you guys choose skyrim style item list which is so hideous and hard to use,it's not recommended so far.

Double AA Kingdoms of Amalur, kinda jank and the combat is not as good but its fun with a serviceable story. Only issue is you can hit the max leveling cap pretty easy. Once I hit it I just stop playing cause the fun was in building up my character, once that stopped I just didnt care any more. Buy on sale or if you need a triple A palate cleanser to play. The passion of the devs shows on this one
I'm not going to give this in terms of a recommendation but rather whether I liked it or not. Other people may have different opinions and preferences, so I can only give my opinion. Based on that, the game is meh. It feels empty. It feels like it's on rails and tries to look open but isn't really. The inventory system is just terrible. It's all some text based RPG maker style multi-menu exercise that really tells you nothing about what you have. The inventory system is the thing I dislike the most. I went through the starter area and I went to the first town. No real options. You just follow the path with nowhere else to go. I get there and - OK. Now what? Sure, I can walk around and try to talk to everything I see but the game shouldn't be hunting for a reason to be there. What I think disappointed me the most was the comparison to this and fable. Graphics - maybe. Music - ok. But as far as gameplay - not even close. Things like loot - they don't have loot they just have 'sparkles' and when you click on the sparkles you get 'something' and then the box state will change from "closed lid" to "open lid" and play a sound effect. I want to like the game but, from my point of view, it's meh at best. Sorry.
If you are looking for an interesting RPG made by a small team, this is one to pickup. The influences are there for sure. I love how you are craft any character you want and your skills grow as you use them. The environments are beautiful, but there needs to be more people in towns. Also a few UI improvements to the inventory would make the QOL better for this game. I hope the devs update this game over time. https://youtu.be/WL3vES9buVY
So far I'm 10 hours into the game and completed chapter 2. The game is great with the highlights being the classless character builds, exploration and quests. It really teleports you back to the 2000s in a good way. From what I hear that this game was built by 7 people which is really incredible. I haven't had performance issues the game runs fine for my specs and the only other con is being address which is no ultra wide support. It's already on the public test realm so I'll also say the way they are addressing feedback is great
Great game rivals some other rpgs koa reckoning for example
This is a fun game so far. The launch day performance was bad, but with the first patch I am now getting 60 FPS with settings on high. The game if very friendly if you have motion sickness. You can disable motion blur, there isn't any screen shake, there is an option for a permanent, fixed dot on the screen, you can adjust the camera where it hardly moves at all. The game needs a FOV slider, but otherwise it is great. I am playing an archer that throws down traps, and the switching to a two-hander that launches fireballs when the enemy gets close. There is a lock on and stamina bar with blocking and dodging, but the combat is much slower than souls-likes and isn't really like a souls game. The graphics aren't realistic, but the environment is beautiful and the music is peaceful. It's kind of like fable or Morrowind. Lot to discover while exploring. I am only in act 1, but not much story yet. The first quest giver I met had funny dialogue. Skills level up by using them, like in Oblivion. It isn't a perfect game but it is pretty good and fun and worth the money. The developers seem dedicated to more patches and I think they have done a great job and deserve our support.
Good gameplay mechanics however the optimisation is horrible, definitely wait for patches.
I like the game and the progression is easy enough so far. I like trying to find all the chest and scrolls and gnomes. combat is ok. And it really looks great maxed out on epic graphic settings.
