it's decent, not good, not bad, middle of the road. the story is okay and the gameplay is rarely simple. However, it scratches the same itch that alot of mobile games do, it's very reminiscent to candy crush.
I've been following Jake since I watched his excellent GDC talk back when, but never actually bought any of his games, as solitaire isn't really my cup of tea, but this one sparked my interest because of the 90's FMV CD-ROM horror vibes and it completely delivers on that. Great back-story, very atmospheric and totally nailing the era! Great collaboration. Also, through one of its bundles introduced me to Titanium Court, which I absolutely loved, so thank you for that!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

my new favorite way to play solitaire
engaging solitaire gameplay and excellent classic pc game ambiance. very fun
This was a fun 4-5 hour romp!
This game overstays its welcome about at the halfway point, which is crazy for a game that was completed in 4 hours. The gameplay is simplistic but also feels inconsistent as the cards are randomly generated. Sometimes you get good jokers and blow past a level, and other times you just clear one card at a time for 14 cards in a row and it's a slog. Buying upgrades doesn't feel like a choice that you make so much as an inevitability-- there's no reason not to do it aside from challenging yourself. The story isn't anything that hasn't already been done in the most poorly written creepypastas of the early 2010s. In addition, the way that it's presented is the most uninteresting way possible, with random pop ups just telling you all of the lore and shoehorned-in voice clips play during the riveting solitaire, letting you know this story is going to play out the exact way you know it will from about 20 minutes into playing. There are some good ideas here, but eventually the game runs out of them and you'll either just play solitaire, play solitaire with health points, or play solitaire but sometimes you can't click the cards too many times. I understand that at its core it's just a solitaire game, but your money is better spent with something like Balatro or Inscryption, two games which do both parts of what this game tries to do but better. As cool as the FMV is, there isn't really enough of it. Most of this game is looking at still images where you get attacked by the thing you just sneaked by. Maybe NG+ fixes my issues in some way with the gameplay, but I can't be bothered to try it after being underwhelmed with the meat and potatoes of the game. Pick this up for 5 dollars at most.
What an awesome retro feel game! 100% recommend if you like solitaire at all, also thankfully not too scary
я хотел лечь спать пораньше, но игра была слишком хороша
