Louisiana, 1933. Thirty years ago an entire wedding suddenly & mysteriously vanished on the island of Devil's Rock, and with it went the location of the lost treasure of Bellemore Manor. To find it, you might need to die too. A cozy, story-driven, point & click adventure game of the merry & macabre.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 12 → 2.33/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

DEVIL'S ROCK
An island off the coast of Louisiana
1933
“Ever since I heard of the treasure inside Bellemore Manor I've been obsessed by it. People said the house was still haunted by the ghosts of the wedding that disappeared there decades ago, but if the ghosts knew where the treasure was hidden, I just had to ask them.
But there's more to the treasure than I could have ever expected, and now I've awakened a household of spirits who don't mind that they're dead, and an evil phantom determined to find the treasure before I do.
Fixing the situation won't just mean getting to the treasure first, but also figuring out what happened on the island all those years ago. But I have a feeling that in order to do that, I'll have to die too.”

Really enjoyed this. Reminded me a bit of the Monkey Island series. Even had a tear in the eye at the end :)
Solid puzzles, good old-fashioned point-and-click game, great voice acting, all in all a fun ride.
Foolish Mortals is a game that shows its love to the past, respect that past, but ultimately lives in the here and now. Its one of the truest Point'n'click games in the past two decades or so - it brims with nostalgia and references to the old classics, but have more streamlined interface compared to them. The game have the right concoction of story and puzzle elements, resulting in a chemistry thats pushes the player from the first story segment to the next puzzle segment, and that formula is masterfully replicated as much as needed till the conclusion of the game. The puzzles difficulty are neither too hard, nor too easy - it's a Bullseye! The main component in it's story is not the plot itself, but the memorable characters and it's atmosphere - the latter is greatly enhanced by the amazing soundtrack created by Richard Prohm (and a very special piece by James Harrison -. Its only con, as mentioned by the adventuregamehotspot reviewer (Sam Amiotte-Beaulie), the game have a somewhat quirky manual save system.

Simply beautiful. Made me feel back to melee island, where I met my first adventure back in the 90's. A lovesong to the golden age of point and click without being a copy Visuals are great, the characters are quite interesting and the soundtrack and the sound ambience are tunned to the plot. The plot has it's surprises (at least one major), but let's say it's simple. That's not a problem The puzzles are neither dumb nor overcomplicated. There is no moon logic; not once. I felt they were a bit too easy on the begining, but as the story progresses it warms up and the puzzles start to feel interesting. Not all of them, but you never get bored It was made with both love and talent and deserves a place among my modern favorites
Best point-and-click-adventure I’ve played in a long time! Please keep making more adventure games!
It was a treat. The game is outstanding, with a good story, wonderful art, and characters that stick with you. Highly recommended.
Foolish mortals tells a good tale with great voice acting and solid puzzles. Well worth the purchase.
I really enjoyed this game! It's a really cool story with interesting puzzles and great humour. The hints are built into the game, so it's impossible to get stuck. The graphics and voice acting were also superb!
