The Flux is not keen on giving away its secrets, and you’re one of them. Sail a vast planet under a blanket of stars and use your tools and wits to remind yourself of what was lost and what could come next. An open world mystery about understanding the end of the world.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You’ve been absent. Perhaps you once called this world home, but it moved on without you. Where were you? How long has it been? Alone on a boat in a sea of Flux, you set off without destination to find answers.
The entire planet lies before you. No matter where you go, you find a unique trace of the past. Lost journal letters. Remains of a great temple. Derelict research papers. Ancient conversations between peers. Soon you start making connections, and previous discoveries grow in weight.
Knowledge is progress. There is no combat, waypoints, or skill trees - just you, your ship, your tools, and the waiting world.
Constellations rotate overhead as you glide over the waves. You learn to sail by the stars, using the sky as your guide.
Each location you explore offers up new mysteries and answers. You take note of your discoveries in your journal for later.
You pause after reviewing your notes. The strange puzzle from a previous location begins to make sense. You know what to do now.

Reviews
Flux Empyrean is a wonderful take on the "Outer Wilds" genre that seeks to ask what happens when you take that format and apply it to one planet in specific. What you get is a condensed, diverse reading experience that has you crossreferencing presocratic elegies with enlightenment era criticism. A story that has both a deep mythological/religious streak while also exploring elements of technoethics and science fiction. What's wonderful about Flux Empyrean is that all these elements don't overpower the other, but rather blend into a chewy, multilayered narrative that gives you plenty to think on as you're sailing about.
Haven't made too much progress yet, but I'm enjoying it a lot! Will update review later, but leaving it to boost the algorithm

I'm so confused, I don't know what's going on, I'm scared mom can you come pick me up. I need this game to be more popular so that people who are actually smart can figure some of this out man
i would like to say in no means do i know what is going on despite my play time but im absolutely enjoying this game the drip feeding of the lore really gives me that feeling of dread yet such mystery. Also im scared to log back on cause those "things" really creep me out all in all 10/10 so far
Very fun discovering the story. The sailing is bit technical though. Also pretty difficult to solve the puzzles.
Holy Niche
Giving me a lil OW fix, interesting concept so far and can't wait to see where the story goes.
This might be one of the coolest games puzzle games I've ever seen, and I watch aliensrock on a regular basis. You might want to reach out to him(if you haven't already) if you want game visibility.
yeah idk what’s going on but it’s peak
Fantastic game concept and something I wanted to get into. Visuals and controllers made me physically queezy which is such a shame.
