This is a very relaxed colony sim. If you have played oxygen not included, this would be right up your alley while being far less challenging.
Flotsam is a charming and relaxing city builder that can easily pull you in for hours. You start with a small floating settlement and gradually grow it into a thriving community, providing shelter, food, and jobs for your drifters. One of the things I enjoyed most is the scavenging aspect of the game. Nearly everything you encounter can become a valuable resource. From flooded ruins and abandoned cars sticking out of the water to remnants of old factories and even floating garbage drifting across the sea, there's always something worth collecting and recycling. Watching your settlement expand through ingenuity and resourcefulness feels very rewarding. As you progress, you'll unlock new technologies and innovations that improve the lives of your people and allow your floating city to become more efficient and self-sustaining. The game's atmosphere, art style, and overall pacing make it easy to lose track of time. I personally spent around 3.5 hours with Flotsam and had a great time. While I don't see myself continuing my playthrough, that comes down to my own preferences rather than any fault of the game itself. During my time with it, I found it enjoyable, well made, and easy to get immersed in. If you enjoy city builders, resource management, and the idea of building a community on a floating world made from salvaged materials, Flotsam is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to spend quite a few hours exploring, scavenging, and expanding your settlement.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game.
one of the best city builders i've ever played
Dang I had 8 crews die at the same time, putting a lot of productions to halt.
i have 32 hours and i dont know where the time went... this game is great
It's insanely chill and satisfaying, I love playing this
