Boring, tedious, slow, repetitive, and anomalies are not fun. I can see why this company stopped making games

Love the quiet, unsettling ambience of this title. It takes a couple of hours to really lock down what the hallway is supposed to look like, and after awhile you can get into a comfortable rhythm with it. While horror themed, I would really characterize this more as a cozy game for fans of horror? In either case I've already dumped about 12 hours into it and intend to keep playing until I find all of the new recently added anomalies. Potential spoilers: That said, I do feel there is a lot more the developers could do with this game. There are presently 38 anomalies and that could easily be expanded to twice as many. There is some imbalance in the way anomalies are distributed through each play through. Certain areas never have any changes whatsoever, while other areas show frequent alterations. The flower pot area alone has three anomalies but the electrical box has none? More could be done with certain doors, the ceiling lights, the carpet, signage, the window, etc. Another opportunity for game expansion would be to do other hallways on the 9th floor of the hotel, or difficulty levels for the same hall. A black and white mode? A blood red mode? And so on. There's just so much potential here! I do enjoy the new additions such as the leaderboard and the new anomalies they have added. I do think the NRG is still a bit weak. While there is a little more variety in how often you'll see certain anomalies, others rarely ever show up, which could make it difficult for anyone trying to find all 38 anomalies. So, while not a perfect game, it is an absolute delight to play.
