FLERP

I decided to write this review because even after looking at the other reviews i just simply do not agree. Some of my issues are bigger and some others are smaller. I just put them all in here as my opinion. First of I saw a lot of mentions of comparing it to SNKRX due to the style of the game. And that is also one of the reasons i bought this game. Having enjoyed SNKRX a lot, loving tower defence games and roguelikes, I figured to give this a shot. And sad to say I did not enjoy it at all for a variety of reasons. The biggest and main reason I did not like the game is the pacing. There is no pause button, no slow down, only speed up or normal speed. At the start this is not an issue because there are not to many enemies and you do not have much gold. So you can spend your time going over the powers and what they do. However this really fastly turns into having no time to read, or having so much enemies that when you place a tower you still have no clue what it does. It makes it really hard to plan and make proper synergies and see which towers are actually good or useless. Personally i would like it more to have a wave type of system. Giving these "pauses" in between to better look over it without being afraid to make any changes to avoid getting run over. This also brings me to the "end" of a round. You unlock new difficulties by surviving a certain time. However it would be nice to get a small pop up of wanting to continue playing or start over at a higher difficulty. This makes it more clear when you actually achieved it. Especially when you just start playing, otherwise its a bit of a guess. But the main issue is that once your towers are fully upgraded you just... wait... there is no interaction except for waiting to die. Because of this the earlier idea of having a pop up of wanting to continue makes it better. So there is no wait and you can actively continue playing. The game itself is also not a challenge. You place towers, as close to the core as you can for coverage, and then just upgrade them. There is not really any strategy except for which towers you buy. and even then it does not always matter to much. There is for example a synergy where if you have multiple towers of the same class (e.g. "blaze" "mythical" etc) you get a certain bonus. However once a tower is level 3 you can place down a copy of it. This copy however does not give a bonus to this synergy, which in my opinion it should. I know I do not have much time in this game as compared to others. But it became really clear to me that I do not like it because of those issues.

It's a really fun game to 100% complete.

It was fine for the $1.19 I spent on it. Nothing too crazy, but still enjoyable for what it is. Would recommend it while it on sale for sure. Exactly what you see from the video preview so don't expect anything more than that.

this game makes me flerp so hard

画面下に攻撃を出すミニオンのショップが常にある。 英語わからないけどとりあえず同じ色で編成していけばいい感じになる。 レベルアップ時に得られるアイテムは色がないので、一応今自分が集めているのはDUELISTだとか、単語は覚えておこう。 ※青い光が経験値だけど、カーソルを動かさないと手に入らないので注意。 350円であることを加味すると、バフの組み合わせも色々試せるしかなりコスパがいいゲームだった。
