Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While I'll admit that Fire Pro likely won't be my favourite wrestling game ever, long term I could see this being a game I still open up in 5-10 years time. With the unprecedented amount of creation slots I can re-create every character I've ever made in my over 15 years of playing wrestling games, download every WWE/WCW/TNA/NJPW/ECW/AEW etc etc wrestler, every video game character I find and likely still have room for more. Fire Pro focuses on filling a specific niche and it is all the more special for it and absolutely a game I recommend with my whole heart to any wrestling fan.
Want to download a community-created wrestler? Buy the parts DLC! Want to play career/story mode? Buy the Road to whatever DLC! Want to play the promoter/gm mode? Buy the Promoter DLC! Want to play with more than the few fictional NPC wreslters included? Buy the DLC! BUY BUY BUY BUY I mean, the base game is alright at the price I got it for (9 EUR on autumn sales) but paying full price for this is just embarassing as isn't really anything more than a couple of fictional fighters, a bunch of single match modes and the creator mode. The base game itself is great, but I'm not really interested in shelling out more cash for endless DLC paywalls that should be in any basic wrestling game - I'd rather buy another copy of Returns and keep using community edits. Blatant cashgrab and a real stain on FPW's great name.

Incredibly well done character creator that goes as far as letting you control the ai, not to mention the unlimited customization with mods. In my 400 hours I have literally never actually played as a wrestler, I just make characters and watch them fight. It's that in depth and fun. I can't imagine the amount you can get out of it if you add in player input as well. Cannot recomend it enough if it's even remotely interesting to you.
I mean, the reputation of this franchise speaks for itself. Rarely does a game exist that encourages just OBSERVING the art of not just professional wrestling, but video game professional wrestling. I don't know anything about actually playing this game other than setting up a dream world in my head and then seeing it exist and play out before my eyes, and somehow.....Fire Pro has figured out that equation and how to make not just entertaining, but completely addictive. I also be remiss if I didn't mention just how mod friendly this game is, and how talented it's users are. Accurate and custom music for every wrestler? You got it. Complete customization of outfits and entrance attires? You bet. WWE wishes it could put out a game this good. Please let these developers do something with the NFL or NBA license. There is so much money being left on the table with that.
As a 36 year old who has been a lifelong fan of wrestling, I really wanted this to be my new favorite wrestling game. Sadly, it most certainly is not. While the 2D graphics and animations are quaint and different enough to set this game apart from many others, once you learn the mechanics of the game's wrestling (which is purely timing based) there's almost zero challenge from an NPC and apparently no one actually plays this multi-player online anymore. I've learned that a majority of fans of this game series don't even actually PLAY the game, they just simulate the matches with all CPU wrestlers, which is not my idea of fun at all. Call me crazy but when I buy a game I expect it to actually be engaging and fun to play. Fire Pro Wrestling World is not. One redeeming quality is the amount of customization available to you when making a created wrestler, but without DLC your options for parts and moves will be limited. Unfortunately most of the DLC's are more expensive than they're worth, so good luck as you'll be paying nearly the price of another game entirely to purchase them all and much of the DLC content should have already been included in the base game. Match modes are limited to singles, tags, battle royals and odd tournaments that aren't much fun to play through. There's a barbed wire match and an exploding c4 match, both of which are nearly identical. Just a whole lot of disappointment with this one. Don't buy it unless you're a die hard fan and don't mind not actually having fun playing matches
STARDOM DLC !!TJPWはどこですか ?!
I'm not the biggest Fire Pro Wrestling fan of all time, But I own Fire Pro Wrestling Returns on PS3. I own Fire Pro Wrestling World on PS4 and PC, if anything I think it shows enough that I'm willing to buy it more than some others. Since I come from the the Smackdown/SVR Games, I like to play matches but, The AI do it so well that Its really hard to go against the grain fighting them, but will almost always have better matches just watching your favorites just go at it. THE FIRE PROS Are... -The modding is something else with this series, I enjoy the simple Camera angle mod, and haven't looked past that since I installed it, and I'm sure now the modding scene is night and day. -Move Craft (Create an animation) alongside modding has made for some of the most wild animations I've seen in a wrestling game... and Wrestling Empire Exist lol. -The Matches! The Bread and Butter! In general the matches are something to sink you're teeth and time into. -Importing Logos is pretty easy to do and the community Creations I believe are Crossplay With PS and PC. -Hell you can even Rename Moves if you really want to, to Find them Easier. My CONS with this game are... -Pricey DLC when not on sale -Mission mode is Slow with no option to speed up the matches(Maybe a mod for that now) -Clunky UI -Fire Promoter having untranslated text (mods might have this fixed) -Downloading Custom Parts for Wrestlers has to be done 1 by 1 (I HOPE THERE IS A MOD TO BULK DOWNLOAD THEM) I cant think of a wrestler that isn't on their by now or will show up if you request from the right people. That The Positives HEAVILY outweigh the Negatives. The New Japan and Stardom Wrestling DLCs are what the Kids Say "Bussin"! Wrestlers when crafted right and not downloaded from dummies feel some real to their real life counterparts in the ring. Goldberg is always an example I use. He hits like a Truck and that Spear will destroy whoever he's up against, but the long matches he gets gassed out fast. This game is Legit-ness! I'd say if your on the fence PLEASE get it on sale, Spike Chunsoft has their games on sale what feels like monthly. 19 Bucks For Base Game and DLC, that's always there, never have to worry about, servers being shut down or having to get Fire Pro Wrestling'25, '26, '27. Its just there when you want to play/watch anyone go against anyone. This series had such a influence on me and how I conduct my matches on my older WWE 2K series matches to even now how I play them for Youtube. Graphics aren't everything, let the gameplay show you why!
Fire Pro Wrestling World is a wrestling simulation at its core. If you want something more bombastic with amazing visuals, check out the WWE 2K titles. If you want something more arcadey, there's games like Action Arcade Wrestling and others that will have you covered. FPWW aims to give wrestling fans something a little different though with the ability to have different promotions, rosters, stables and more at your fingertips. It's one of the deepest wrestling sims around. Fire Pro Wrestling World like many of the previous titles offers up one of the deepest create a wrestler modes seen in any wrestling game. From looks to moveset FPWW has got you covered. Even for the arenas themselves! For those who don't want to spend the time though there are several creators who have amassed an army of real and fictional wrestlers over on the FPWW Steam workshop. And they got you covered on just about everything you can imagine. Want to create a classic WCW roster? They got you. Want to create a roster of nothing but Marvel superheroes? They still got you. And the likenesses can be pretty amazing for most of them. The only caveat to workshop downloads is that some wrestlers do require the purchase of some DLC. But tons of them do not, so you should be fine with just the base game. Speaking of the DLC, none of it is really required, but some of it can be fun. Such as the NJPW DLC which adds in a healthy amount of real life at the time New Japan Pro Wrestling stars, with new moves for create a wrestler, new voices, and more. Even a neat little story mode called Fighting Road. There's also a couple of Stardom rosters as DLC to add in a bunch of real life female wrestlers from that company. You also have Fire Promoter which let's you play as well, a promoter. And several other bits of DLC mixed around to buy if you want. None of it is required, and honestly most of it I'd say avoid as it adds very little to the main game outside of CAW stuff. But if you do decide to jump down the DLC rabbit hole, wait for some sales. They do have this handy bundle available, but for everything else it's best to piece meal or just avoid. As for the actual gameplay, FPWW has several modes of match types. You got your normal wrestling, tag teams, cage matches and more. They even have crazy stuff like barbed wire matches and even one where the ring explodes after a certain period! You can also play matches inside of an octagon with MMA rules. And also while not the best simulation, there's even boxing/kickboxing rules which is kind of neat. There's also foreign objects you can grab as well to cause more damage to opponents with things such as chair shots to the head! And yes, you can in fact bust wrestlers open and make them bleed. Wouldn't be a wrestling game without it. You have full control over your wrestler, and perform moves by standing, running, or during grapples. A lot of is based on timing and position of the wrestlers which is pretty easy to get used to. You can throw wrestlers into the turnbuckles, or climb them yourself for diving moves, fight outside the ring, etc... They have most of the aspects of wrestling covered here. You even have a neat trading blows segment at certain times. The wrestling is honestly extremely fun, especially with all the various moves you can go through for each wrestler with the grapple system. Everytime you get in grapple position you can choose a move based on which button you press plus which direction. And moves are tied to 3 buttons, which would equate usually to a weak, medium and strong grapple move. The directions multiply this quite a bit. You also have some devestating moves which when mixed with the opponents own logic rules can cause things like critical damage putting them out of action essentially depending on their own weaknesses. And man is it a delight to crit someone! You also have online multiplayer for anyone interested in that! Fire Pro Wrestling has a deep history having been around for well over 30 years. And FPWW has pretty much claimed the top spot in the series being arguably the best game in the entire series.
This is the best wrestling game of all time. The amount of things it can do, and the amazing community around it - it can't be touched. If I ever win some kind of lottery, I will pay the Spike Chunsoft team to make an updated version of this. Please say a prayer to whatever you pray to that I become rich very soon.
If you include DLC, this is the single best Fire Pro Wrestling game and among the best wrestling games of all time, bar none. But if you don't plan on getting any DLC, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns has more bang for your buck than the base game only.
