Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fire place, has you when you make a fire. Not worth 5 dollars, but yeah.
Okay, listen. This "game" is not for most people. If you find yourself thinking the incredibly specific thought of "Wow, I think fire is REALLY pretty and I LOVE the sound of it! But I can't have a real fire and I don't want to use video recordings of fire. I want to have the experience of starting up the fake fire and maintaining it!" then this "game" might be for you. I say "game" because this is really more of a relaxation tool than anything else. I would never recommend playing this with the goal of having fun, because you need to combine it with other activities to truly appreciate it. Hop on call with friends and chat with them while you have the fire pulled up to watch, read a book with the relaxing sounds while occasionally glancing up to add more fuel to the fire, have the fire going while you study, and things like that. Also, just play the demo version until the full version goes on sale because its normal price is definitely too much for a simple "game" like this.

Fire Place is a simple environment simulator where you are given a small number of tools (matches, paper, wood, a poker and some tongs) and you can, if you want, arrange them to start and maintain a fire. If you want. There's no actual goal to this, it's a pure sandpit about the size of a shotglass. And that's really the problem, it's not a game in the traditional sense. Maybe the developer was hoping this could be considered "art" instead of a game, or hoped to get sales just from the "controversy" of putting something that isn't a game onto Steam. They did put it into game bundles, so I guess that's something. Anyway, this isn't a game, so it can't be recommended, especially not for a crazy $5 USD.
Not for me
🔥
Nothing relaxing or fun about this. The music is nice, but the fire interaction is truly abysmal. What a waste of time and I only played 10 minutes..
멍 때리기 좋긴 한데 멍 때리기엔 비싼 가격
I liked the scenes and the music for this game. But there was no fire? I turned up the speed and I could see my logs were getting consumed, but no fire actually showed. That seems like kinda the point?
#tinygamereviews

Broken. You can't see anything, and that's not in like, a *cool* way like it's simulating having to build a fire in the dark - it's just darkness with black sticks and glowing tools that poke and prod in places other than where you're telling them too.

Overall Score: 1/5

Curator: Nostalginauts
