A slow, quiet first-person digging game. One million blocks, one box to find. Normal mode gives you a warmer/colder signal as you approach the box; Hard mode gives you nothing. Every hole you dig is saved, a clock tracks your run, and your best times are kept. No enemies, no pressure. Just dig.

About
It is buried somewhere inside a solid cube of one million blocks. You have two hands and as long as it takes.
Find the Box is a slow, quiet, first-person digging game. No enemies. No map. No inventory. No pressure.
HOW IT PLAYS
- One block at a time – punch blocks to remove them and get closer to finding the Box. There is no faster way. Nobody is rushing you.
- Normal mode – the edges of your vision turn green as you get closer to the box and red as you drift away. Warmer, colder. That is all the help you get.
- Hard mode – no indicators at all. One million blocks, one box, your instincts.
- Your holes stay dug – every block you remove is saved. Quit, come back tomorrow, and your tunnels are exactly where you left them. The box hasn't moved either.
- The clock is running – a timer quietly tracks how long each search takes, across every session. Nothing happens when it ticks. It just remembers.
- Personal leaderboards – your best times in Normal and Hard are kept, so once you've found the box you can start again and try to find the next one faster. Or not.
WHY DIG
Because it is calming. The rhythm of it settles into something close to meditation. Some people play it after work to switch their brain off. Some play it with a podcast on. Some dig in silence and let the dark do its thing.
There is a low, ambient soundtrack and not much else. The surface is bright; the deeper you go, the less you see. It is peaceful right up until the edges of the screen start turning green, and then it is something else.
THE BOX
Exactly one block in the grid is different. It glows. When you break through to it, you will know.
FEATURES
- Single-player, first person
- 1,000,000 fully destructible blocks in a persistent world – dig anywhere, in any direction
- Normal mode with warmer/colder proximity feedback, Hard mode with none
- Autosave – every dug block and the box's location persist between sessions
- Run timer and personal best leaderboards for Normal and Hard mode
- Relaxed, unhurried pace with no fail state. There is nothing that can hurt you down here.
- Low-key ambient soundtrack
- No combat, no crafting, no inventory, no story to read. Dig.
PLAYTIME
As long as it takes. Some people find the box in less than 30 minutes in Normal mode. Some dig for weeks in Hard mode, a little each night. The save makes both easy, and the timer will tell you exactly how long it took – then dare you to beat it.
