Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

amazing.
This remake bloats portions of the original and makes it worse. It introduces this annoying multiverse/multiple timelines stuff with Aerith, but it just reduces the original's themes and turns a cohesive narrative into something unfocused and unfaithful. It's okay to add new content, but most of it barely matters, especially the timeline plotline. The combat is fine, standard hack and slash, but bosses that took 5 minutes in the original now take 20–40 minutes, and they're super boring. The new combat ends up making an already bloated game feel even more bloated. Graphics and the new music are very good and impressive. 7/10 original is better

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 37.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice PC Port! and bring back nostalgia

From someone who hasn't played the original, I am now hooked into the FF7 universe. Loved the story, great gameplay, this was simply a pleasure to 100% complete. There is definitely some bloat in this game, side quests and drawn out level design. I've heard that in the '97 original, all of this gameplay takes a fraction of time compared to Remake. Took me upwards of 60h to complete my first normal playthrough. Looking forward to playing Rebirth, excited to see what they have improved from this game.
It's not a perfect game and its pacing is off. But if you go into it expecting it to be completely different from the tried and true FF7 then you will have a great time. Otherwise, you will be disappointed since even for someone like me who didn't play FF7 OG. I can tell from the story that its vastly different from the OG. Treat FF7 Remake as it own thing rather than a true FF7 Remake if that makes sense.
