Fields of Mistria

I typically don't really enjoy these kinds of games, but every once in awhile I get an itch... and boy has this game scratched that itch. Something about it just keeps calling me back. It's great as a chill game to kind of afk on the side as well. I play it all day on the side while I'm working, and then I get off work I still feel like playing. Definitely recommend.

Really good farming adventure game, defo up there near Stardew Valley.

I played a bit when early access came out, but decided to wait for the full release to really give it a go, and I'm so glad I did! This game manages to improve on its predecessors in so many ways while also still feeling like a really fresh take on the genre. Plus, its gorgeous, has a great story, and wonderful characters. Highly recommend.

Witty dialogue and very strong personalities carry this very pretty game, making it easy to rack up dozens of hours. Play is super customizable, but has enough depth for any type of player. FoM has so many great quality of life features. It's a great romp through an adorable town that's home to a wildly unrealistic amount of hot people. My quick spoiler-free tip to save you some frustration: hoard everything you get in the mines, you'll probably need it later.

What's here is extremely solid but it just needs more stuffing. More events, more areas, other "long" exploration than just the mines, relationship events with non-bachelors... There's little to complain about what currently exists, it just needs more things added on top.
