Fields of Mistria

As the game is nearing its official release date I wanted to leave a review saying I would definitely recommend the game. I have been playing since around the beginnings of early access and it has become one of my favorite farming sims. I think this game is more suited for people looking into a calming experience, the game is much more forgiving that other sims and has a very low stress feel to it. My favorite part of the game is that it feels like you are actually part of the town. In other games it can feel like you are not really one of them or that you are the only one putting in any effort. Fields of Mistria really nails the feeling of becoming close to all the NPCs and also the idea of everyone in town working together on the various projects.

It took me a long while to get into this game i had heard of praise for it during release week and i think i bought it during a sale i wasn't expecting much but i have to say i really like this game i think it's even better than Stardew Valley imo and is much more of a casual game fishing is so easy and doesn't feel competitive or annoying there is a main storyline and quests but you can easily ignore those and be a recluse which i like plus the pets are cute. Also tones of inclusive options and lots of romance too i really like this game and the art style is really adorable. The only thing i find annoying is the sound effects while changing items other than that a pretty perfect game i've only had one bug/glitch where my game crashed as i completed the bridge. It also reminds me of the early harvest moon game there is also something pokemon about it but i think that's down to the music and the art style i also love how easy it is to completely change your characters appearance with a click.
