Astonishing puzzle game, really love the concept for it and the uses of buttons as a way to solve them and other things not relating to it is quite neat in my opinion
If I were to never understand the word heft upon my hand then speak until zenith.

FEZ is a masterpiece. Incredible music, great puzzles, and interesting level designs make this a easy game to recommend to anyone that enjoys exploration and discovery in their puzzle games. This game is worth revisiting every few years to rediscover its secrets.
Incredible first impression, would love to explore it further
I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH its so cute and the music is so weirdly amazing
I am probably still finishing this game for the sake of figuring out the whole language thing, or more likely, to be explicitly told exactly what the whole language thing is all about. Before I rant, the concept is actually pretty cool and the cryptic language idea was cool too, it is just not used to its potential at all. For almost all of FEZ's "puzzles", you get "told" (shown on a wall, demonstrated through a contraption, etc) a piece of information. And that is the complete answer to the puzzle. And 5 other puzzles. Yes, they do combine this information sometimes. But, it is still boring, because I know the answer already. One puzzle is literally a QR code that tells you exactly what you need to do. They did this same exact ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing twice. If you want to "solve" a puzzle yourself, go to the achievements list to see the type of "puzzle" you will encounter in this game. The yellow cubes or 1/8th of a yellow cube, your main reward, are usually given for just getting somewhere and are very rarely actually given for solving an actual puzzle. I do not count the lame-ass platforming as a puzzle, after the 100th time they pull the exact same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trick (I will complain about that later). The anti-cubes are given for "solving" the "secrets" on a screen, which are what I described in the beginning. You can reach the credits and the absolutely undeserved end cutscene (they act like they made some trippy, mindbending game, but I have had a harder time grasping some of the toys I find laying around at my local dentist than this game). I currently have 21/32 anti-cubes and like 5 of those were for encountering the room, where they tell you the way the language works. Another 3 or so I got for stumbling into the way the numbering system works, which meant I got to do the puzzles where they show you the numbers 1 2 3 4 and you do the thing in the order 1 2 3 4, and the puzzle where you press the thing the amount of times the number says you have to. The rest were pretty much all puzzles that told me exactly what I was supposed to do (there were like 3 that required slightly more instruction from another wall). I have seen most of the other puzzles that I need to do already, I just need to get to the room where they pretty much tell me how to solve it. It is also a damn chore to get everywhere, as there is only teleport points in very specific locations, which means you always have to do the terrible (and slow) platforming to get anywhere. I already know how to platform through this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level why do I have to keep doing it to get to the "puzzle", I just figured out (because I got the answer written down on a piece of paper I did not have before). There is also a bunch of "puzzles", where you have to wait (no, there is no way to skip to night and it stays night for like 1 minute) for it to be night because the game hadn't wasted enough of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. The platforming never does anything interesting with the main mechanic of the game, if you are worried it might get good. It just does the same ♥♥♥♥ you learn in the first couple of screens OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Yes, they do introduce new things sometimes, but they never make these things clever at all or use this mechanic anywhere other than that specific themed zone. To rub salt into the wound, the game constantly struggles to figure out your character's location while using the screen turning mechanic causing your character to: flicker back and forth between being behind something and in front of something, and constantly phase through blocks you are trying to push and be blocked by others (the block pushing mechanic is also not well thought out and is tedious as ♥♥♥♥, but I don't want to be stuck in purgatory complaining forever).
