Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Aug 19 → 8.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
ACT 1 is available at launch. Acts 2 & 3 will release as free updates in the coming months!
FEED THE PIT is a linear, story-driven, investigative horror game where you hunt wealthy individuals through a dangerous card game in order to Feed The Pit, all while avoiding relentless horrors.
THE PIT hungers. To feed it, we're sending you to kill people in Carrister Valley. Hidden deep in the woods, your only hope at finding them is with magical cards--each of which asks a unique question about the target's location.
With the right inquiries, you'll narrow down the map until only one possible spot remains. Your card selection is limited--you'll have to play the hand you're dealt. No two investigations are the same.
Every mission brings a new monster, acting as your nemesis for the day. Their behavior is a mystery. Take dangerous gambles and pay close attention to discover how they work, and more importantly--how to survive.
THE PIT is here to save us. And you've been invited to join his Chosen Circle. We have a higher purpose to serve. A new world order to execute. For Brotherhood. For The Pit.
A complex and branching story lies ahead. What will you do?

Curious Fox Sox is knocking it out of the park again! In their fleshiest game yet, you get to join a cult out to save the world, one frenzied stabbing at a time! Earn your stab frenzy by playing interesting and unnerving on-foot hunts, narrowing down the bracken through a card-and-grid system until the hiding place is revealed, then run down your prey like an animal. Just be careful, because you're not the only one in the woods! There are also deer. It's impolite to scare deer. Script work is continuing to improve in this studio, and while I haven't played long, there's plenty of character to be found. Give a eulogy, try a lemon bar, and oh yes...FEED THE PIT!
While I enjoy the game and I find it very fun, there quite a few issues. My main issue is how unoptimized this game is. This game runs worse than Red Dead Redemption 2, a more demanding game and yet somehow I freeze more on this game and than RDR2. I would suggest optimizing it more before act 2 just so next time when it's raining, spores, bear trap, and gps I don't screwed over because my laptop freezes mid spore square. However besides that the game is amazing. 8/10 In my opinion.

This is a delightful little game so far. I have not beaten the game yet but so far it is full of charm and scares and I am loving it to pieces! No real criticisms from me on this game at all so far. I would highly recommend.
Really Fun! I hope Act 2 comes out soon!!

Genuinely just a really really good game I am super excited to see what else comes of it
i play for silly haha cult shenanigans i end up with a meta narrative that actually uses emotional character beats to make you care about it. i sit consumed with excitement for the next act.
