FATAL ERROR - RTS

A really well-made RTS game. Don't be intimidated by the game's simple graphics, after playing it for just a bit I can tell you that the devs knew where and how to use their budget because the gameplay is excellent. Besides that, even though the previously mentioned graphics are rather simple they still do their job well, the overall presentation feels pretty retro but at the same time there are a few touches here and there which make the game feel fresh. All in all, a must-buy for RTS game enjoyers.

Was having fun at first then got to mission five where im expected to be able to start from scratch with basically nothing and be expected to fend off attacks with units far stronger than mine that hit too frequently to be able to build up my forces to move out and expand and the AI has infinite money so i can't compete was fine at first but jesus you need to either adjust the difficulty curve or add in the option to adjust the difficulty of the campain. I try to turtle i get overwhelmed and destroyed, i try to rush my unit production and get overwhelmed and destroyed, i try to expand quickly and, you guessed it i get overwhelmed and destroyed. its supposed to be a difficulty curve not difficulty wall can't recommend untill this gets fixed

The game is a great RTS game. I’ve passed a lot of time in one campaign task without noticing it. The success of a game is really satisfying as you have a real challenge with the NPC. In order to unleash its potential, the game need to give more modes or/and specificities in order to let the player discover all the aspects of those great mechanics. It's a great game, for the RTS game lover, you'll find what you are seeking. The old school designs are well done.

Although it is not fast at first, I realized that its extreme speed will take a lot of getting use to. My advice to those who think that the game starts slow compared to today and those who will play the game for the first time is to play skirmish after the first episode to see what the diversity of the game promises.

[*] Lack of a decent tutorial and initial player guidance. [/list] [hr] Like mentioned the game looks old, that's in my opinion not a negative factor, if anything I think it's real nice how it reminds me of the old games of my childhood, the menus are easy to understand and only need a few new inputs to be perfect. The gameplay is hard to understand for a new player, the tutorial is only a voice telling you what you need to do, and the game won't advance until set objective is completed, a more visual and interactive tutorial is needed to improve the quality of this game. [h1] Great real time strategy game, fun and challenging [/h1] Fatal Error is an interesting and enjoyable strategy game; pesonally I'm not into the genre, but the game was on sale and I wanted to try it out, and I found myself hooked up! I started by playing some of the campaign levels, so that I could learn the basics and see if I liked the game. It took me a while to get "good" at it and to properly understand when to invest my resources in a more efficient way ([b] Just like any other RTS game [/b]). Then, I tried the offline multiplayer gamemode, whose name is Skirmish, and I loved it, especially the 4v4. It took me a couple of attempts before managing to eventually win, as the AI isn't that bad, even at easy difficulty, making the game kind of difficult and different every time. I enjoyed the graphics which I would define as oldFashioned (or vintage) with some good music and sound effects. I recommend it and I hope that the developers will keep updating it, as it has some great potential!
