Developed and published by EY08 Games, Farming & Supermarket Simulator: Prologue offers an engaging introduction to a management simulation that blends agriculture with retail operations into a single, interconnected experience. Rather than concentrating on only one aspect of business management, the game invites players to oversee every stage of the production chain. From cultivating crops and caring for livestock to displaying products on supermarket shelves and serving customers, every activity contributes to building a profitable enterprise. Even as a prologue, it succeeds in presenting a satisfying glimpse of the complete game by showcasing its primary mechanics and progression systems. The heart of the experience lies in balancing farm work with commercial management. Players begin by planting crops, harvesting fresh produce, and deciding how to best utilize their resources. Produce can be sold directly through the supermarket or used to support livestock, creating a cycle where every decision has a meaningful impact on efficiency and profitability. This relationship between farming and retail gives the gameplay more depth than traditional farming simulators, as players must continuously evaluate production priorities while ensuring their business remains stocked and financially stable. Managing the supermarket adds another enjoyable dimension to the gameplay. Customers expect well-organized shelves, consistent inventory, and efficient service, making store management just as important as maintaining the farm itself. As profits increase, players can gradually expand their operations, improve the store's layout, and enhance the shopping experience. This steady progression creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment, as each upgrade contributes to a larger and more productive business. The mechanics remain approachable for newcomers while still offering enough complexity to keep simulation enthusiasts engaged. One of the game's greatest strengths is how naturally its various systems complement one another. Farming, livestock care, inventory management, and retail all work together instead of feeling like isolated activities. Success depends on planning ahead, managing resources wisely, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods from the fields to the store shelves. This interconnected design keeps the gameplay loop consistently engaging, as improvements in one area often create noticeable benefits throughout the entire business. Players who enjoy optimizing production and watching their enterprise steadily grow will likely appreciate this thoughtful structure. Visually, Farming & Supermarket Simulator: Prologue embraces a colorful and inviting presentation that suits its relaxing gameplay. The environments are clean and easy to navigate, allowing players to focus on managing crops, animals, merchandise, and customers without unnecessary visual clutter. The game's accessible art direction complements its casual atmosphere, making it easy to settle into the daily routine of operating both a farm and a supermarket. The developers also openly disclose the use of artificial intelligence for some promotional and in-game visual assets, while noting that these materials have been further refined during development. Although the prologue naturally contains less content than the planned full release, it provides a well-rounded preview that effectively demonstrates the game's potential. The available features are substantial enough to introduce the main gameplay loop while leaving room for future expansion in the complete version. Players can experience the satisfaction of building an integrated business, experimenting with resource management, and expanding their operation without feeling overwhelmed by excessive complexity. It successfully establishes a strong foundation that encourages continued interest in the full game. Farming & Supermarket Simulator: Prologue is a promising simulation that successfully merges farming and retail management into a cohesive and enjoyable experience. Its satisfying progression, interconnected systems, and relaxing pace make it an appealing choice for players who enjoy business simulators with steady, rewarding growth. While its role as a prologue means certain features and long-term goals remain limited, it offers more than enough content to demonstrate the strengths of its core design and leaves a positive impression for what the complete game aims to deliver. Game is pretty lame. Controls are janky and slow. Watering plants costs more than just selling the plant and buying a new one lol. The register controls are terrible. The whole mechanic of using a chicken to turn tomatoes into eggs is stupid. Etc. etc. I'm done. Devs abandoned the game anyway so who cares?
