Best phone game Genuinely addicting
Edit shelter This game is so much fun and I enjoy playing it. If I could change one thing though it would to be able to edit my already made shelter. Like being able to just keep my progress but move things to how I would want it. If that makes sense, but apart from that this game always keeps my attention.
Needs to stack food water and electricity It’s annoying that the resources don’t stack while your not playing it makes it where you always have to play and I don’t think it should be that way people have things to do
Constant grinding You basically have to play for hours just to keep energy, food and water up which isn’t doable for those who want to casually play here and there, people who have bills to pay and kids to take care of. I don’t want to spend every second of my free time to keep dwellers alive from constant threats that’s break into your vault
Fun Until Paywalls This game is built around an interesting concept of being a vault manager and managing resources to keep your vault alive, and hopefully to thrive. Solid idea. Then wait mechanics set in. And you can speed them up by, you guessed it, micro-transactions. But wait, there’s more! If your vault falls or ends up in a bit of trouble, which WILL happen since the vault is online even when you’re idle! Don’t worry though—you can spend NUKA COLA BOTTLES (which you buy through more microtransactions) to “save” your settlement! You can integrate micro-transactions ethically, by making them entirely optional, cosmetic only, with more than enough content for free players so if you just want a bonus, you can just pay a bit to add some stuff. This game is solidly in the toxic model of F2P games. This game is pay-to-win. In other words… Bethesda pulled another Bethesda.
Good mechanics, Immoral universe I grew up playing fallout 3 & new Vegas & 4 and even this fallout shelter game from the time I was in elementary or middle school until high school and even as an adult. I have downloaded this game, started a vault, and deleted the vault and deleted this game about fifty times or so (I don’t have an exact count). This entertainment series is sinful from a correct Abrahamic religious perspective, the makers need to read the Tanach & Biblia & Quran, however I will say that the mechanics of the series are cool. A clean game of this type would be good, something that doesn’t bother the conscience of an Abrahamist (ultra orthodox - Jew/Christian/Muslim) type of person. Biggest problems morally are that there’s no marriages and no genealogies, and the suffering including mutations of creatures (this is especially bothersome for me because I’ve used entertainment that causes serious conscience harm concerning unnatural things). However it’s a game I’ve spent money on.
Bethesda, you've done it again! This game is amazing. Although progress is slow, And you've gotta grind for a BUNCH of stuff, it's nice to see your vault loaded with resources and armed to the teeth. A few tips i've got for the game, if you wanna get good at it. #1 always guard your vault door, and give the dwellers guarding it the best armor and weapons you've got. #2 once you have a medbay, and a science lab, prioritize Stimpak and Radaway production for a little while. #3 build the overseer's office as soon as you can, going on quests can really help your vault. #4 if you're tired of waiting for Vault-tec videos to load, then just force quit, and reload the game. It's kind of an infinite money glitch, and it's really helpful if you're in a tight spot. #5 don't build small rooms, excepting it to help your vault a lot, only to find out that those rooms are using more resources than they produce. #6 build dweller training rooms as soon as you can, then build more work rooms after they're trained, or assign them to an already existing room. #7 When you can, start replacing some of your basic power stations with nuclear power plants. #8 keep lots of junk handy, as it's used for crafting. #9 if you get a mister handy, assign it to the floor that you think produces the most resources.
Terrible Customer Service I have been playing this game for years and really enjoyed it, but recently lost all my time and money… I had an experimental vault with a season pass that started crashing every time I opened it. The help function said to reinstall the game. I made sure both my regular (YEARS old) vault and the new experimental vault were saved in the cloud. Reinstalled the game. Restored both vaults. Experimental vault still crashed. I sent in a ticket with video and was told (I’m not kidding) there are no developers on the customer service team, so they can’t help me. I gave up on the experimental vault, even though I had paid for a season pass, and tried to load my regular vault. It also crashed, and when I logged back in, it was GONE. The lack of assistance from Bethesda is a dealbreaker for me. I’ve deleted the game and won’t be back.
Crash report for experimental vault I was playing the game for a one day, there are 33 days left for the experimental vault but for some reason the game has started to crash when I try it. Regular vaults are okay but this has never happened before. Please help!
It’s just the perfect niche game to play if you know the game lore Honestly great game never thought I’d say it myself but honestly if yk what fallout is even about this game is great for experiencing a whole new side of it
