Fallout® 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed game that took RPG'ing out of the dungeons and into a dynamic, apocalyptic retro-future. It's been 80 long years since your ancestors trod across the wastelands.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fantastic game with alot of reactivity and fun experimentation. killing myron with an rpg accidently and having the gameworld react to it was very funny. fighting in a casino with a team of prostitutes to help me whilst getting liquidated with energy weapons was so funny i had to take a break. all sorts of corners to get lost in. Don't look up anything and make sure you get a fix for the game. other than that vanilla. have fun!!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Probably the best fallout game ever made. Just an improvment on everything they did in 1 Still holds up even after all these years

Before anything some technical issues: There seems to be an issue with Steam's cloud saving feature, that will sometimes screw up save files. I myself lost a few hours because of it. The game also crashed every once in a while, and there were some major lag spikes when entering different city areas. I'm a bit more mixed about this than Fallout 1. That one I consider among the best crafted games of all time. This game is much bigger, hell it's a big game by today's standards. That's not even accounting for different runs and decisions you can make. It has a lot more focus on combat, and is more difficult. I liked that. The worst thing is definitely the "humor". There are on-the-nose pop culture references, self-referential and 4th wall breaks absolutely everywhere, and like 50% of your dialouge choices are like the Fallout 4's (sarcastic) dialouge options. At times it feels like a Marvel movie. It definitely detracts from the enjoyment of the story, because the actual story isn't some whacky hi-jinks. You're dealing with some serious issues like drugs, slavery and even genocide. To be a little fair the heavier subjects are usually handled a little more seriously. The Enclave are some seriously devious, and interesting villains. The different communities and societies you come across are very distinct and different from each other. The story continues on from Fallout 1. A version of events that you might not have actually chosen in that game. That might put some people off, but I kind of like that. It was a little disappointing that the talking heads were a lot fewer. I also missed the option to just ask about whatever I could type a little bit, that was a flavorful option. One could say a lot about the companion system. But to keep it simple; I think it worked decently well, and was mostly improved from Fallout 1. It has its frustrating moments for sure. The basis is a great game. That is brought down by a few, but significant flaws.
When the stars threw down their spears And water'd heaven with their tears: Did he smile his work to see? Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
