Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Step into the town of Porcupine and take to the well-loved scrubs of Finley, the newest fledgling doctor to join the ranks of St. Ursula's hospital. As the seasons in the small-town change and life starts to stir, you'll soon realize that things aren't always what they seem: Not everyone is honest with themselves and others, the healthcare industry is not as illustrious as it seemed in medical school, and the work/life balance Finley strives toward might be impossible to achieve.

Not only is there a lot to discover in the old hospital, but also in the small town of Porcupine itself. Take the time to meet the villagers and have a beer with them in the local pub, take a trip to the nearby forest, or spend quality time with your friends.
The blunt head doctor, the selfless nurse, Finley's smart friends, and many other residents populate the small town of Porcupine. Engage in funny, profound, and sometimes serious dialogues, in which you'll be able to choose your answers and influence your relationships.
You don't even have time to look at the clock because your patients are waiting! Investigate what's wrong with them through your conversations and treat them in different minigames that challenge you in logic, speed, and skill.
At first glance, the small town is a warm, friendly place where everyone knows and greets each other. But if you live there for any length of time, you'll suspect that not everyone is as honest as they pretend to be – especially in an unhealthy healthcare-system.

It a wonderful Indie Game. Reminds me a little bit of both Night in the woods and Beacon Pines.

i loved this game it almost made me cry at the ending i 100% recammend it for anyone looking for a cry worthy ending
So, I bought this game hoping it would be like night in the woods. To put it simply, it follows the idea of night in the woods in design, running around, talking to people, and otherwise experiencing the world. You follow a day by day, with some choices that depend on who you hang out with, some multiple choice parts. The game is good narrative wise, not as good as night in the woods. The main character is kinda goofy but in a charming way I think. But I will say the mini-games are terrible, especially the scrolling mini-game. The game doesn't register some of your button presses and as you are graded on how well you do. It can be very frustrating. I would suggest perhaps trying the simple mini-game mode? I'm not sure what that does, but I restarted the day multiple times and found myself frustrated by that. Sometimes the game will just not progress and you will have to close the game and re-open it. Or you will not be able to take your phone out. Things like that were the biggest dampening parts of the game, but I do still recommend it for the story that I found involving even if it may not of lived up to the same level of NITW. I appreciated the game for what it was.
heartfelt and very real
I love the art of this game, simple but cute and special. And the music is wonderful. But the best thing is how it depicts the reality of people working on the healthcare system. I experienced some technical issues with the minigames, but I got through with the easy mode. All in all, I fully recommend this game. It's so human (even though the characters are cute animals, hehe). A game to reflect on!
Fall of Porcupine is a cozy, heartfelt narrative game that follows Finley, a young pigeon beginning his career as a doctor in the small town of Porcupine. You spend your days treating patients through mini games, learning their stories, and slowly uncovering the town’s deeper struggles. There’s a mental health disclaimer at the start, but I didn’t find the themes overwhelming. The game deals with real-life issues in a grounded, relatable way rather than feeling heavy. Some of the mini games were more difficult than I expected, and I eventually turned on the simplified mini game option in the accessibility menu, which made the experience much smoother. The characters are charming, the town feels lived-in, and the story does a great job pulling you into Finley’s new life. That’s why the ending felt abrupt. Mr. Heidrich being arrested does give some closure, but letting Theobald die without much buildup or emotional processing made the story feel like it stopped rather than concluded. Finley spends the whole game building a new life and new connections, only for everything to end suddenly. I kept hoping for a more hopeful final note—maybe a hint at rebuilding the hospital or a setup for a sequel. Overall, it wasn’t my favorite narrative ending, but the world and characters are strong enough that I genuinely hope the developers continue the story in a future game.
Review for "Fall of Porcupine" – An open letter to the developers from a Russian gamer. First, the game itself is wonderful. As a fan of Night in the Woods, I was instantly captivated. I recommend it to everyone. No complaints about the gameplay or art. But here is my story – and why your approach left a bitter taste. I saw your game on Xbox (I am first of all a console player) and fell in love with it from the screenshots. I wanted to buy two copies: one for me, one for a friend. That would have been $40 ($20 each) – money I was happy to pay. Then I discovered there is no Russian language support. However, you do support German, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and others – some less spoken worldwide than Russian. I refused to pay. Instead, I found an unofficial Russian translation online and played that version on PC. Later, I bought a Steam key for only $3 on a third-party site – just to leave this review. I played on my laptop with a gamepad and the fan translation. The result: You could have earned $40 from me. Instead, you earned $3. All because you ignored the Russian language. Why this makes no business sense - Russian speakers worldwide: about 258 million people. Compare to other languages you did include: - French: about 396 million speakers - Japanese: about 140 million - German: about 130 million - Korean: about 78 million Russian has more native speakers than Japanese, German, and Korean. Steam user language distribution (2025): - 1st: Chinese – about 35% of Steam users - 2nd: English – about 33% - 3rd: Russian – about 8.4% - 4th: Spanish – about 4.6% - 5th: Portuguese (Brazil) – about 2.8% Over 8% of Steam players speak Russian – that's millions of potential customers. My hope for the future Please, add Russian to your next games. It's not just about respect for the Russian community – it's simple business. You are leaving money on the table. I wanted to pay you $40. I ended up paying $3. Don't force your Russian fans to choose between piracy or third-party keys. Add Russian. We will buy your games.
When I first began the playthrough, it wasn't saved and I had to restart. On the second go now, I managed to get to the hospital but the game is so buggy its unplayable. Its a shame as I was looking forward to this. The options on the phone don't show up, there's multiple minigame bugs and I keep loosing progress.
