The systems design here is close to flawless and I've sunk a ridiculous number of hours into it. Two caveats, though. The graphics are weak. It's functional, readable, and completely charmless — you're staring at the same beige belts for hundreds of hours. More importantly: play this with other people. Solo, the scale becomes overwhelming and there's a point where the sheer amount of stuff you're personally responsible for stops being fun and starts being a job. In multiplayer it's a totally different game. Splitting up the factory and coming back to see what someone else built is where this really shines.
