F1® Manager 2023
Yearly Entry will kill this series To summarise the game is very engaging as an F1 fan but is a little too easy as a MM/GPM veteran. AI errors are good and the safety car is a common site, mixed condition races are fantastic and you can plan undercuts. The whole UI is very good an contains a lot of information. I did have some crazy issues with hiring drivers where they were asking insane amounts or even with all things checked they still declined. It is an improvement over 2022, HOWEVER! Games like this should never have been released under the yearly edition feature as management games tend to have lifespans of years if not more. With a yearly release and minimal improvements each time Frontier is guaranteed to see diminishing returns. But some moronic shareholder who flys a desk for a living think this is a good method. At the time of writing this I can see Frontier have already thrown in the towel after 2024. So now we will have another giant void until another F1 manager is made if ever. Frontier did a great job with the graphics and general gameplay but overall the management and development sides were slightly lacklustre compared to the industry standard of MM/GPM.
F1 Manager 2024 needs these features.

Ability to save car setups so you can load them again as a baseline next year
More reasons to use your reserves. Main drivers injured or ill for example.
Make the game harder
More things to do in practice.
A photo mode.

[strike]Series already at risk?[/strike]

Series dead
[Strike]With Frontiers very quick end of support for the title a lot of players understandably were upset. They have the license until 25 providing they meet certain financial criteria. With the negative press the EOS caused who knows what the future holds for this series now. Personally I hope it continues and is bettered or Sega let playsport regain support of MM or give us MM2 etc for the PC. We really need a good F1 manager title at home on the PC.[/strike] SCREW MOBILE GAMING! Trail-Dave Oh the series is dead, who could of guessed?

If you played F1 Manager 22 you will quickly see that this game has been improved in almost every way, although 22 was really good as well, F1 Manager 23 refines pretty much everything about it aside from a few UI decisions that I felt were a step backwards. Especially the new ERS system and the driver preparation are awesome changes. Not to mention the parts durability which was missing entirely in 22. Anyone who liked 22 will probably like this one even better.
I can fire Stroll :D
"F1 Manager 2023" is a real treat for racing and managerial enthusiasts! The game impresses not only with its great graphics but also with an engaging gameplay concept. With numerous features and interesting gameplay elements, every race is a real pleasure. The on-track battles are dynamic and challenging, requiring some strategic thinking to succeed. Although the game is truly excellent, I eagerly await the next installment, hoping for even more innovations. Co-op would be a fantastic addition that would further enrich the gaming experience. In short, F1 Manager 2023 is a real gem.
You gave Lance Stroll a rating of 83. For that alone you deserve a negative review. I've got an idea: How about you get someone on your dev team who's a 'Real' F1 fan, and not a 'Drive To Survive' groupie. If you had a real fan you'd know 2023 was Lance Stroll's sixth year in F1 and he still drives like a rookie. 83.... HA!
great game will buy f1 manager 24 100%
This game is so frustrating ... tire wear and strategy seems to affect only the player. Magnussen with 30% soft tire is doing 2s better laps than Albon fully pushing on fresh mediums? Driver in front of you pitted for hards and you pitted for mediums at the same time? Well then you still do worse times even if you are both pushing but his better times will just last longer ... HOW? Its like rng and when the game decides you are not going to win then you are not. At least make my choices of tires and strategy matter a little bit!! Driver confidence mechanic is unfinished and makes no sense. Logan Sargeant is getting demotivated because a Ferrari from 10 places higher pitted and overtook him even though it is expected. Drivers getting demotivated for every unsuccessful overtake even if they overtake right on the second try. Even back-markers finally getting good starting position can have bad confidence somehow. The UI looks pretty but sometimes getting the useful information can be tiresome. Like: do you want to know if your driver is doing a better lap in quali than someone else did sector by sector? You either wait until he finishes his lap or you need to constantly switch between current timing and the lap history of said driver and compare the sectors individually. And that kills the excitement. Or if you want to know if its going to rain in the race. The answer wont be in the race overview. You will have to click "Choose strategy" and create your own strategy, there will be your answer. And other little things that ultimately add up. As a big F1 fan I can appreciate the models and voicelines and the soundtrack is chill and nice. The car development has some more depth into it than Motosport Manager. Watching battles is exciting and overall the game looks quite good. I cant recommend even if I want to like it. The racing part just doesnt make any sense and your choices rarely matter. AI drivers of same level drive faster on destroyed tires than your driver on brand new tires resulting in a frustrating experience. Motosport Manager did this better a while ago and even though this game looks far better, the gameplay lacks the fun aspect in both the manager and race strategist parts.
Did some insane upgrades, strats, organized the team and McLaren was running like a well oiled machine under your boy. Turn 3, Nyck de Vries slams into Piastri and Norris had his car explode. Refunded
