Expendable

2008年买过一张小游戏DVD光盘，里面就包括这个游戏，名字叫《3D魂斗罗：威力扫荡》，但删减了动画。由于当年游戏经验少，第一关试玩过不了，感觉太难无法通关就放弃了。但很喜欢这游戏的画面和主题。这次竟然在steam发现有这游戏，就入了一份，打算实现当年通关此游戏的愿望。(Expendable)是个还算不错的射击游戏，虽然键位操作别扭，但胜在画面好，对电脑配置要求低，我这台装有Windows 7_64 bit加CRT显示器的电脑正好可以玩此游戏。这次玩我连通关三遍，三种难度全玩过了，最后以最高难度通关了。这游戏不只是简单的射击加找通行卡开门，还有救人质、隐藏因素、奖励关卡等丰富内容，有些很容易错过，需要参考别人录的通关视频才能知道怎样进入。总之，我对此游戏是很满意的，能让我通关的游戏就是好游戏，这就是我评价游戏的标准。

It is one of those games which was way too difficult for me as a kid. In those cases I am always curious how skilled I am in present times. Turns out the game is still atrociously hard. I have to admit I used cheats in the last 3 levels. For its price tag it is a good game. You get nice music, solid action, nice sci fi / 80s vibes and some interesting weapons and bosses. The levels are short and you can play this game easily in short bursts. What strikes out as annoying and negative is the clunky control sheme and sometimes very tough time limitations. Also if you have problems with the use of cheats the difficulty might be a problem. I played on the easiest setting and the game gives you 8 "continues" in proper arcade style. The last 3 levels can use up 4 of them alone. The controls make it even harder.
