I’ve spent a lot of time in SnowRunner, and Expeditions has been a really refreshing change of pace. At first, it feels like a simple mission-select → play → back-to-menu loop. But once you unlock freeroam, the game opens up and starts to feel much closer to SnowRunner—just with a stronger focus on a single rig and overland exploration. Even early on, you can tell it’s more about destination-based objectives rather than hauling endless cargo. The movement and UI feel tighter, the gameplay is solid, and the overall experience is smooth and refined. The Pickup DLC adds some extra fun right out of the gate, too. I can easily see multiplayer being an absolute blast with friends. If you enjoy SnowRunner but want something more focused on crawling, exploration, and pushing your rig to the limit, this is it. You’re going to love it. Devs: please keep supporting this game—it’s got huge potential for a niche community of crawler and overland enthusiasts!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Out of the three 'runner' games released by Saber so far this is probably the weakest of them. The focus is on the exploration elements of the series which means pure driving and the challenges that can bring. However this means you are dealing with the sometimes rather random and unforgiving nature of the engines physics system which can ruin your fun at any moment. The main tasks in the game all fall within the same sort of requirement which means going to a location and then back to base with very little in between. The focus on careful navigation and resource management can be fun when everything comes together but not being able to leave things like fuel trucks in specific locations or even have numerous vehicles dotted about to refuel from means you can sometimes get stranded very easily with little option other than to start over. This is hampered by the limited system of vehicles you can deploy, four being your maximum number. Specialists can be a big help but you need to know which ones help the most for missions otherwise again you will be forced to restart the entire mission with a different one. I would love for some of the mechanics here to be ported back into Snowrunner though. The deployable anchors would be great for some areas of that game and the terrain mapping scanner of the scout would be fun mechanics to retroactively add. Multiplayer is kind of boring here sadly. There isn't anything to do as a group outside of either driving together to the same circle on the map or doing your own thing which means you should just play solo. The maps do look really nice though and they are large like all of these games. Overall it just feels a bit like a swing and a miss.
поддерживаю игра говна,я их разрабов рот мангал кормил,кооп постоянно ломает,один вылетает и потом вся игра багует,дермище,играл в другую версию игры и она куда лучше,хотя игра та вышла куда раньше нежели эта
people taking decisions at Saber should be fired. spintire and mudrunner were the start of an era, not something you throw aside and never think about again. this is just executive slop. if Saber doesn't want to go bankrupt they should put Pavel back onto the decision making.
Не могу понять почему игру критикуют, в snow runner не играл. Но от этой игры получил массу удовольствия. Игра для спокойного расслабления вечером. Просто покатать по горам посмотреть на красивые пейзажи.
Compared to SnowRunner, this game focuses more on exploration and features a less logistics-heavy campaign. The game shines in how it implements vehicle upgrades, offering greater functionality and the ability to carry supplies during expeditions, making for a truer off-road experience. Despite the mixed overall reviews, this is my personal favorite title in the series.
7/10 - It's a great game if you enjoy the previous titles, however it's understandable why some aren't happy. This is essentially the standard Mudrunner gameplay, but broken up into relatively short missions taking place across 4 maps (more with DLC). You can buy trucks and upgrades like Snowrunner, but you can also buy items to carry with you on your expedition. These items, among other things, allow you to deploy your own winch points and flip your truck. These items slash the difficulty of the game, and allow you cut corners by launching your truck off of a cliff to where you want to be, then simply flipping and repairing it. For this reason, co-op gameplay also feels less valuable as you'll never be in a situation where you want or need help from a friend. It's certainly worth a purchase on sale, even if the experience it provides is a little different to the previous games
Strangely enough, I believe that Expeditions: A MudRunner is the best achievement of these developers in the field of off-road simulators, but unfortunately, most players did not appreciate it, as a result of which the developers made the understandable decision to discontinue further development. Yes, just when the game had become even better and more interesting, its further development was brought to an end. I won't lie and say that Expeditions: A MudRunner is perfect, but it is certainly special and unique in its own way, so we can only hope that game mechanics such as anchors, tire pressure reduction, binoculars, and various types of drones, including ground drones, will also be available in a new off-road game in the future. However, all fans of exploring the world and new game mechanics created by the developers for this game can get acquainted with this underrated game, especially since the developers have recently released the final season of this off-road adventure.
Was expecting more coming from Snow Runner. This is just a dumbed down version of Snow Runner with less to truly explore. Snow runner was amazing and was hoping for more of that but with new things. This is not that. Expectations were high but are now shattered.
