About
The world-machine is broken. The sun has become a baleful orb of radiation. The Celestial Bureaucracy is in disarray. You, the Captain-General of a great ark, must lead your people rimwards, away from the gaze of the green sun.
Survive your voyage by maximising your production of valuable resources:
Food fuels your buildings, and stockpiles increase their cycle speed.
Production allows you to construct more buildings on your ever-expanding ark.
Inspiration enables you to hire crew members with unique skills to improve your buildings.
... or buy buildings and hire crew members outright by spending Gold at the dockside markets.

Pick between a range of Great Houses, each with their own unique ark, buildings and crewmates. Command House Arioch's golden flagship, the Diurnal Ark, and harness the expertise of their engineers and artisans - or choose House Mnesis, whose ark, the titanic Shepherd Moon, is a motherlode of precious raw materials.
Exploit the Houses' specialities, mitigate their shortcomings, and lead them to a safe refuge on the rim.

Explore a vibrant world, with diverse biomes and settlements.
Command 4 unique Great Houses, each requiring a different strategy to reach victory.
Build your ultimate engine with over 100 buildings and specialized crew members.
Play at your own pace with pause and time acceleration.
Multiple routes to victory, either focusing on peaceful production or blasting your enemies into submission.

fun game
It's one of those "not bad, but not great" kinda of games. The building element is quite fun, but good builds are hard to come by, and still depends on RNGesus. For example, yes, there's a shop... but our shop rerolls are limited (once!). So you can do a money build, have so much money... and no where to spend it. Or that you got a lucky roll for a worker who can keep your rites alive... but you never got a rite the entire run before you die. That aside, the stages is barebone, it doesn't matter where you go or what you do. And finally, the meta progression seems... basic? There's not much motivation to unlock the progression since most of them adds more difficulty instead of buffing the player. IDK, the moment to moment gameplay loop is alright. Not superfun but not boring. But then, I have no motivation to play more of it. Maybe you'd be different.

Game has some game-breaking bugs where your buildings will get randomly destroyed on entry to a settlement. Has issues with random freezes/crashes as well. Might be a fun game once you let it cook for a bit and they get those ironed out, but even then there seem to be a few builds that just revolve around multi-cast/crit and unique enablers tend to be at the mercy of the RNG. Relics are either busted and can enable entire strategies or offensively boring as well. The LEXI system is pretty cool, but I almost wish that was something you could choose from the start to diversify your builds/give you more challenges.
Very fun Rouge like! Highly recommend to folks who like big numbers :) -A little dependent on random chance, but plenty of ways to combine building effects to scale exponentially -Shockingly poor performance and my computer has crashed on two separate occasions during non-intensive runs. -I would love to see some processing optimizations and QOL changes (like a skip option that runs a calculation to determine resources generated)
Fun game with a great amount of replayability. each faction or ship has their own unique starting layout, buildings, and play styles. later on your able to mix and match the ship, starting building, and access to building of another faction for even more ways to play. The best thing about Exark is that their isn't an obvious "meta" or optimal way to play making most play styles possible. For me personally, I like to use the ship of house imperia with it's open space and mix it with house mnesis starting building which focuses on turning the tiles of the ship into little bonuses for your builds. Adding mnesis as an ally also gives you access to their building which tend to get bonuses from standing on these effected tiles and you get a power house. I can't wait to see what's in the future.
good
If you've ever played a board game considered an engine builder - and loved it. You should be buying Exark. If you don't know what an engine builder is, try playing the Exark demo. You'll probably understand then and want to buy the full game.
tres bon jeu fun, complet, tres bien optimiser ( tourne sur n'importe quel pc )
Despite the bug on my first play through the game is highly enjoyable, it was the one bug only and the dev is active. Highly recommend the game. Very entertaining.
