this basically a free Metroid game so if you like that franchise, you'll definitively enjoy this as well
Honestly, I have zero complaints. It's free, not too much of a time sink, and the dev is pretty cool. Only suggestion I have to anyone looking to play this, use keyboard and mouse. It'll give more range to aim than a controller would. Also, if you're looking for a plant based arcade game, I would highly suggest his other game, Mycocosm. It's a bit more rough around the edges, but it's clear a lot of research (and heart) was put into it.

Super Metroid but edgy and a bit pretentious. Still, it's a free and quite nice game with (an) interesting ending(s).
Mediocre Super Metroid clone where all mechanics are nearly straight reskin of the original. The only innovation is that aiming is done via mouse/analog sticks rather than modifier buttons, but that's it. Platforming is very janky and controls are just alright. ... At least that's what I thought until I reached the third area. The game really waits a bit to hit you with living enemies and then the atmosphere REALLY clicks. The idea of "What if Super Metroid was slightly more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up" is really cool and interesting, and controls are fine after less than an hour of adjustment. I'm really excited to see what happens next.
Отличная игра!
Very good game, it reminded me of Metroid, I hope for a sequel or a similar game from this masterpiece creator!
Very underrated!!!
I wouldve paid for this
Like the other reviews say, it's ~2 hours to beat, it's nothing you haven't seen in Super Metroid, and there's a bit of jank to it, but it's free and it's solid. I've definitely paid $10 for worse, and I'm excited to hear the dev is still at it.
I love this game so much, I picked it up like a year ago or smtg like that, and I have beaten it I believe two, or three times, and now I want to do it again. Honestly this is a 9 out of 10 game, its a bit hard to understand and learn for the first time imo
