Reviews
This is a review of how this series, Evoland, is distributed in the Steam store. When someone buys 1 and 2 individually because the "legendary edition" comp is overlooked, this someone has overpaid. And this sucks because spamming the games in the store is anti-consumerism. I suggest the distributor of this series either take down those individual offerings and just sell legendary edition, or visa versa. I'd prefer legendary edition stay because it is the best value of the three current offerings. As it is on the Steam store now, don't buy anything in the series until this change has been made.
This game is so so nostalgic for me. But, I believe that this game, even though its clunky, holds on pretty well even without nostalgia.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a 2-in-1 Pack. If you want to play both of the Evoland games but are confused about what this is, just know that this is a combination. Just like DMC HD Collection. First of all, it's been a few years since I've played Evoland 1, so I don't remember much, but I particularly remember that I had a good time. You might ask why I don't recommend it then? Because of the second one. I played and finished the first one in around 3-4 hours, pretty manageable. The game's gimmick for changing the era and genre and even the graphics over time is pretty neat. The first game is pretty okay to play, but. A BIG BUT! I just started playing the second one and omfg, this is so boring... The first game's gimmick is less of the main focus, but there is an actual story that is still a parody but tries so hard to be a real story and fumbles so badly... I've been playing for 5 hours straight. I don't even know if I crossed the middle point, but this game IS SOOOOOOO BORING!!! God forbid this ♥♥♥♥. I love the idea, but holy god, this is so badly executed!
Really fun and charming game! Loved the nostalgic journey through different gaming styles and eras. Simple, enjoyable, and full of little surprises. Definitely recommended! 👍
The first game has a fun concept, but the turn-based combat sucks ass and barely - for a lack of a better word - evolves. On a subjective level, I don't like turn-based gameplay to begin with, but this game's interpretation does the absolute bare-minimum for the ENTIRE game. You start to dread random encounters every time you're in danger of them - not for the sake of the risk, but because they drastically impede your progress and slow the game down every time. When the pinnacle of your strategy is attack -> get hit -> heal -> get hit -> attack, and there's no room to improve, players will get bored. Excluding the basic combat you start the game off with and one random Diablo-inspired dungeon, the game is just this one playstyle. I played about 20 minutes of the second game before quitting. The story just was not interesting and the main gimmick that drew me to the first game was drastically nerfed and felt superfluous.
Great game concept but the game at times is almost unplayable. Xbox or PS controllers wouldn't work. I softlocked myself 2 times, would have been three but one spot I was able to gitch though the barrier after a few mintues. Monster got stuck in a spot I couldn't reach, had to reload the map to proceed. The save points are not spread out well / can't save on the world map (or at least where I was in the game).
I've already played the first game countless times in flash, mobile and I'll say it again. Literary perfect representation of Final fantasy and rpg games. Second game kinda left me disappointed with its length but it was fun for sure with the jokes
Evoland 1: As a game this is of course nothing, but that's not the point. Unlocking all the technical stuff is fun. The game is very easy, since that is also not the point, until the end boss which is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and not worth the effort. This one I would recommend on a sale. Evoland 2: More of a real game, but also much slower. You don't really unlock any technical elements. Game genres seem to change from time to time and graphics change when time travel occurs. Buuut...when I have to do a stupid mini game as a waitress...I'm out... It seems the developers have stayed a bit too close to the ridiculousness they were trying to capture.
