Fehlt eigentlich nur noch der VR Modus. Das wäre echt ein nettes Update :)
I recommend this game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good story so far and the gameplay is quite similar to Everspace 1.
PLAYED ON: Mac mini M4 @ 4K 21:9 ultrawide + 100 FPS + MetalFX FINISHED IN: almost 59 hours DISCLAIMER: I did play Everspace 1 but I enjoyed this one a lot more, since I don't really enjoy roguelikes THE GOOD: +the graphics and sound effects are great, each location looks absolutely stunning; +the semi-open world works very well, there's plenty to do, and places to explore, but without feeling too overwhelming and too big; +loads of in-game mechanics, plenty of options to choose from, many builds to try out; +the gameplay is simple to grasp and well-balanced between dogfighting, simple exploration and simple mining/treasure hunting; +the world-building is great, the different races, characters, places, planets, it feels a lot like watching a well-made universe like Star Wars; +there's many different ship types, sizes, parts, paintjobs, etc. to make your ship unique to you and personalised; +the entire game feels like a space-sim we never got, there's enough open-world to feel the vastness of space, but it's closed-off enough, so it doesn't feel undercooked; +each location (even the least significant one) is very detailed and well staged with props and interactive objects; +the voice-acting is good, the actors sound a bit "retro" in a sense, that it seems less like a AAA style of acting, but it still is solid; +many star systems, space stations, mining depots, shops, planets, caves, etc. to explore; +cutscenes and character portraits are hand-drawn; +working economy and relationships between factions make the game's world seem alive; +the planets you visit are absolutely stunning and detailed; +the game works flawlessly in 21:9 ultrawide, and looks amazing, you can even adjust the UI to "hug the corners" in such a wide resolution; +the devs listened to the Mac gamers and optimised the game for the M series CPU's which is always amazing to see! +you don't need to know the first game to enjoy this one, but it does call back to it a few times; THE BAD: -even though it seems the side-activities aren't as overwhelming as in an Ubisoft game, it's still PLENTY of stuff to go through, After around 19 hours of playtime, I didn't even get to half of the story, feels a bit long; -speaking of... the story is very shallow and predictable, the characters and plot points are something we've seen thousands of times already in various sci-fi books, films and games; -the mechanics seem a little bit too simple, the dogfighting is the one mechanic the game focuses on the most, while exploration, trading, and mining are simplistic, of course this game isn't trying to be a full-on space-sim, but more something like Freelancer, but still, it would've been great if it included that, even just a tiny bit deeper; -you can hear the voice actors repeat between characters, even if they try their best to cover it up by changing their tone. It's not a huge issue, but a trained ear can definitely catch that; -while the menus and game works in 21:9, the cutscenes are cropped to 21:9 enclosed inside an 16:9... it looks comical with its thick black bars. It BEGS to be simply zoomed in, and it would fit the ultrawide perfectly, but alas...; -the controls (on a controller) feel a bit counter-intuitive, especially with rolling the ship; -the gameplay is repetitive, sorry, but most missions and side-missions require you to fly somewhere, kill someone, grab an item, press and hold a button, hold your position for a while, or a variation of the above, the engine is just too simplistic to feel exciting; THE UGLY: *nothing of note YOU'LL LIKE IT IF: You like space-opera's, simple space-sims, dogfighting, space games in general, sci-fi, Freelancer series, Star Wars, old-school fun.
Shooty shooty pew pew in space. Reminds me of Freelancer.
