About
IMPORTANT : Each run lasts 20 real-time minutes, but exploring the world, uncovering its secrets, and realizing what was possible all along can keep you discovering for much longer.
Eternal Afternoon is a poetic walking sim about wasting time before the end of the world. You play as Sasha, a 10-year-old boy wandering his neighborhood in the final minutes before a giant black wave swallows everything.

Retro nostalgic visuals & authentic atmosphere – a suburban block in the summer of 2001, recreated with care.
A chilling meditation on time, death, and the inevitable – experience the quiet dread of a world that ends in twenty minutes.
Story through exploration – uncover small moments, side quests, and fragments of mystery woven into the neighborhood.
Built with replayability and speedrun in mind – no save system, no upgrades; your only progress is knowledge of how the world works and how everything connects.

its uh confusing
Really beautiful game - reminds me of Outer Wilds, Goat Simulator, The Stanley Parable - with really deep and thought-provoking underlying themes. The gameplay was really fun and the sense of exploration aided re-playability. 10/10 one of my favourite games of 2026!

rizzed up my girl that's all that matters ;)
I was recommended this game from a friend and heard good things about it, bought the game and I've let it sit in my library for months(had the game downloaded and all, just didn't bother to play it or even open it). And one day, out of boredom decided to play the game and well.. WOW The game looked normal at first, but as I continued to play more and more and started collecting collectibles and really relating to the vibe of the game's world it really became something special to me, something I cared about, cared about it enough to finish the game entirely, and cared about it enough to come back to it back to back for 2 days straight. Not to mention the theme of the game which is that time flies, and there's nothing you can do to stop it so enjoy your life. Some of the people you meet have interesting dialog like
Gabriel and his speech of life and death
, or
Sapir and her story and why she wants to end it all
. Also one character in particular I really liked is
Mr.Llun
His dialog is most interesting and gives the vibes of a chill dude with a lot of knowledge(
Also the fact that he's like Alex Klexber the developer talking to the player instead of the protagonist)
.
Another thing I liked is the many endings this game has

My favourite ending is definitely is the 6th ending where the player rides the wave and grows up.

First of all messing with the settings and finding a slider to get a surfboard? That's such a cool way to start the proccess of getting this ending. But when you actually get the ending and ride the wave and the cutscene plays out, it really left me speechless just seeing the character of Sasha all grown up, moving out of his appartement which is the only one that is old while all the other buildings are newer and higher buildings. It made me feel so related because i have friends who lived at old houses and they moved out because the city wanted that area for newer buildings, I have a newer building right in front of my kinda old house and just seeing the comparison bewtween them is too different world, yet, they still are in the same street.
Overall, I think this is the best walking simulator I've ever played, with little elements of horror, (but not in the way you feel the game is based around the genere cause it's really not). Good atmospheric soundtrack and a GREAT GAME which is definitely meant for you to explore all the way. The only criticism I can give is that there are so achievements that require some luck, And that I did needed to restart a lot and some achievements require you to do specific things, that restart your game, so you'd have to restart and do all the steps again, but not something that happens often. 9/10
Great game, surprisingly deep, clearly a lot of love went into it!
The amazing thing about this game is that it gets you to connect and fills you with nostalgia, even if you didn't grow up there. Tons of hidden secrets and melancholic jokes.
Nice game but FREE PALESTINE
Gem of a game, the attention to detail is so precise that you can tell it was recreated from personal experience and nostalgia. I, too, miss the endless afternoons of childhood.
Just the vibe of the game is incredible and almost dreamlike. The soundtrack really helps is developing the emotions of the game. My favorite part of the game is how you choose what the emotion of the game is. It could be sad, it could be a new beginning for some.
