Prices

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
Escape Simulator 2 is the sequel to the best-selling escape room game. With immersive new environments, deeper puzzles, and innovative builder tools, it’s the ultimate first person escape room experience.

Explore new locations crafted with the help of escape room experts and legendary community builders. Each room pack contains four rooms filled with intricate puzzles and hidden mysteries:
Dracula’s Castle: Step into the shadowy fortress, uncover its secrets, and free the town from a dark curse.
Starship EOS: An exploration vessel is stranded after a collision, forcing you to retrieve an energy source from a mysterious dark sphere.
The Cursed Treasure: Follow a cryptic map to a pirate island, overcome treacherous trials, and claim the ancient treasure.
With more content coming soon after the release!

The game is designed for both solo play and multiplayer with friends. Up to 8 players can join together online, with built-in voice and text chat for easy puzzle-solving communication.

When you step into Escape Simulator 2, we want it to feel like you’re walking into a real-life escape room. Every detail is designed for interactivity—you can pick up and examine objects, wipe away dirt, drive vehicles, take a seat wherever you like, and move anything that’s not bolted down.

Create your dream escape rooms with the updated Room Editor 2.0! After seeing over 4,000 rooms built in the first game, we’ve made the tools even more powerful and intuitive. The new lighting engine makes your rooms look more like the official rooms, the Building Editor lets you design rooms (with working stairs!), and you can bring everything to life with Sequence animations.

Why a sequel?
A sequel gives us a fresh start and lets us push the limits of the genre further. We were inspired to explore darker escape room themes and experiment with new gameplay and puzzle ideas. Splitting from the original game let us focus on improving key features like rendering, networking, physics, and animations.
Will Escape Simulator still get updates?
Yes! With the recent Mayan DLC and more content on the way, we’ll continue supporting the original game while expanding its reach to new platforms.
Is it scary?
While Escape Simulator 2 is darker and has a more mysterious vibe, it’s not a horror game. The game also doesn’t feature any jump scares or gore.

We’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas for Escape Simulator 2! We ❤️ our amazing community of escapers, puzzle solvers, and builders, so feel free to share your ideas on Discord or email us at: community@pinestudio.com!

Reviews
I was a big fan of Escape Simulator, and this sequel smashes it out of the park. The technical upgrades go beyond just improved visuals (which are gorgeous) and introduce stronger underlying systems that enable more creative puzzles and deeper interaction with the environments. One of the best things about ES is that even once you finish the included campaigns, the devs are forever releasing bonus content. After finishing the main campaigns, there are free rooms to play and reasonably priced DLC. The developers even continue to add bonus content and improvements to the first game, which is almost unheard of once a sequel is made. On top of that, there’s an active community creating and sharing high-quality custom rooms for free.
Really cool game to diagnose if my brain is still working

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honestly? Is there a game more perfect than this? You got the rooms, the puzzles, the extra stuff, the cool lobby, and today we just got a free room and an announcement for ANOTHER free additional room later this year. No bugs, just pure solving with your friends. I had such a good time playing the game and I am looking forward for the next rooms, plus the upcoming DLC. If you're looking for something not too easy to solve, a good challenge, TRY THIS. Big reps!
Really nice graphics and themes. Locations are interesting and the perfect size, so you have the satisfaction that you have been able to explore, but it's not too large an area to search that it take forever to find the required items. Puzzles are fun and satisfying to solve. I would say for the most part mid-range to hard difficulty and make perfect sense. There was a couple of puzzles that were not obvious, but only due to the mechanics of how they worked. For example and without giving anything away, usually you used things only once, so one puzzle in the Vampire courtyard I didn't expect to do twice in different places, which left me hunting around for a while. I really enjoyed this game and I wish they had made more levels, so I'm hoping they will bring out more games soon.
