Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

awkward controls, bad navigation that has the most useful settings disabled by default, and enraging object interactions.

A 3-in-1 package, containing three distinct escape rooms: an evil circus (“Psycho Circus 2”), a dingy water closet (“Factory”) and a medieval torture chamber (“Torture Chamber”). Other reviews have stated that game-breaking glitches or bugs may occur — I personally only encountered a single issue involving one of the large pots used at the end of the torture chamber level, but this was easily fixed by resetting the items via the in-game pause menu. Other than that, I have no real issues with the game, aside from the fact that it is quite dark (even with the flashlight you are provided). The puzzles are among some of the hardest in the Escape First series, but they are still very much doable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to tease their brain a fair bit and/or escape a rundown, dirty lavatory.
I'll be upfront and say I hate escape rooms. The only reason I have this game is because a friend gifted me a copy to play with him when it was on sale. So I was never going to like this game, but I still wanted to give it a fair shot. Unfortunately, the puzzles in this are so convoluted, I'm shocked anyone could figure them out. In the Factory level, there was a math question that said "x = x + x / 3-1" and immediately, it pissed me off. Not just because you have to guess what numbers the x's are, but also because it wasn't using brackets at all, so I had no idea if it was x plus x, then divided by 3, then minus 1, or if it was (x + x) / (3-1). You ever see math questions like these on Social Media and everyone argues about the answer? Yeah, I hate those! Even if you get it right, it's still frustrating. In the end, I just looked up a guide and I have no idea if the answer to the math question was even relevant. There was also an issue when we fixed up the pipes for the air compressor, but it wouldn't turn on. I eventually looked up the guide and found that we did it right. Turns out, if you fiddle with the air compressor (And why wouldn't you?) before setting up the pipes correctly, the level glitches and becomes unwinnable. We had to reload the level. It was so frustrating. The hints are awful too. We got one that said something about a tray and being hungry. After completing the level, we had no idea what it meant. There was one that said that I had to shape a hole in a mirror like an arrow. How is anyone supposed to know that without the hint!? The only way to beat any of these levels is to basically interact with everything using everything. Some may like this, but to me, that's not fun. I'll give the game credit and I will admit a few puzzles were clever, like the dolls and arrows in the Circus, but the rest are so ridiculous. It was 3 bucks, so you get what you pay for, but this may have ruined escape rooms for me forever. I could only recommend this game to die hard escape room fans desperate for more.

Escape First had its fair share of issues, and sadly the sequel is not an exception to that rule. The controls in this game can be very frustrating, especially if you are trying to closely inspect objects for clues. The game would benefit massively from an inventory system so you don't risk dropping your clues and losing them amongst the other crap littering the area. It could also do with a better method of inspecting items in general. The game suffers from an inability to signpost what clues and puzzles are associated with eachother. Boxes immediately next to clues turn out to be of no relation, and you basically find yourself trying codes at random until you find the right box and can continue. Sometimes, items just drop through the furniture (thankfully you can reset item locations in case this happens, but it does happen frequently). Spoilers for the three cases below: Clown 2:
This has maybe the most cases of poor signposting for what clues match which puzzles. I accidentally skipped an entire step, because the passcode for the first door was so obvious when looking at the options. The tickets and seats in the book are incredibly misleading and aggravating, as they contradict the actual instructions you are supposed to follow. Even then, there is no real indication what the actual start point is supposed to be when counting the arrows on the chairs, and nothing on the instructions indicates that you need the arrows on ALL the chairs in the path rather than the individually noted seats. One of the Tarot cards was invisible, and I only found it by chance when I noticed there was an outline in the box for it. This level also has a ton of (really annoying) red herring clues. Why is there a note about the order the dolls are in? It has no bearing on the puzzle at all! Why have the tickets with the seats and rows, or the book with the seating plan? It contradicts the actual solution to the puzzle!
Escape Factory:
While better than the Clown level, this level expects some real leaps of logic from the player. You can associate the pipe the keys fall into with the Air Compressor easily enough, but nothing suggests that you would need to pour water into the pipe. The pipe itself doesn't even display as interactable, so I only found out that I needed to pour the bottles into the pipe by sheer chance. The room is so dark that I completely missed the bucket next to the pipe, which also needed to be filled with water. The equation puzzle is just bad. it is poorly explained, and (unless my smooth brain has finally given up on me) breaks the rules of equations in the first place! There is no indication that you should start on 1 and then work your way up either. When you have to place pipes into the wall for the Air Compressor, there is no rationality to how the corner pieces will place. Despite it being easy to just rotate the pipe 90 degrees and make it fit, you need to find the one specific spot the developers intended. Perhaps the worst part of this room however, is the fact that if you interact with the Air Compressor at all before it is ready, it breaks and renders the level unfinishable. The developers even acknowledged this bug in 2019, and stated that they have pushed out a bugfix for it. 4+ years later, I can confirm that it is still broken.
Torture Chamber:
This one was definitely the best of the three. a lot of space to explore, some interesting puzzle ideas, and a very different vibe to pretty much all the other rooms they've made in the series so far. It still has its' issues, but they mostly are not unique to this level specifically. This is the worst room for connecting the puzzle to the resulting action. There is no indication that the shield puzzle opens the Mirror room, and there is no indication that the Sword puzzle unlocks the final room. I found out that both were open by sheer chance. There is a chest where the 'puzzle' is picking up a key from a table a few metres away and using it. Why bother having it locked in the first place? The tile puzzle in the final room could really do with having the unchangable tiles in a different colour, or marked so it's obvious that they cannot change so they can be used as a reference for the other tiles.
Ultimately, you could do worse if you're looking for an escape room game. However, you can also do a hell of a lot better.
