Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played it for the first time in the 2000's before all the gay youtubers and ♥♥♥♥. Amazing game.
Great classic and very overlooked

Not up to the level of DOOM, the levels are unremarkable and the game itself is boring.
A game that was innovative and in many ways ahead of its time, A very solid and capable old school FPS with clever level design. Unfortunately this game massively overshadowed by Duke Nukem 3D and Quake.
I had the big box version of this game from when it was new, I loved the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game back in the 90's. It's fun as hell and had some good level designs that made it more interesting than most of the raycast games of the time.
Eradicator is a mid-1990s science fiction shooter originally developed by Accolade, Inc. and later reintroduced to modern audiences through digital distribution by Atari and Nightdive Studios. As part of the wave of preserved DOS-era titles brought back to life for contemporary systems, it stands as a representative example of early 3D shooter experimentation—arriving during the explosive growth of the genre that followed the success of Doom. While it may not have achieved the iconic status of some of its contemporaries, Eradicator carved out a distinctive identity through its blend of fast-paced combat, exploratory level design, and character-based campaign structure. The game places players on the hostile alien planet of Ioxia, where a heavily fortified stronghold must be dismantled to prevent widespread destruction. Rather than presenting a strictly linear shooter campaign, Eradicator offers the option to choose between multiple protagonists at the outset. Each character comes with subtle gameplay variations and unique introductory missions, providing replay value and a slightly different angle on the same overarching conflict. This design choice was relatively ambitious for its time, encouraging players to revisit the campaign with different tactical approaches. Gameplay combines classic corridor-based shooting with exploratory objectives and environmental interaction. Players move through 25 expansive levels filled with enemies, security systems, and mission goals that extend beyond simple elimination. Destroying installations, activating switches, locating access keys, and navigating maze-like facilities are core elements of progression. This emphasis on objectives and level navigation gives Eradicator a slightly more deliberate pace compared to pure run-and-gun shooters, rewarding attention to layout and careful resource management. Combat remains the heart of the experience. The arsenal is broad, featuring more than twenty weapons that range from conventional firearms to more imaginative tools such as deployable devices and explosive gadgets. Weapon variety ensures that encounters rarely feel repetitive, and the choice of loadout can influence how players approach certain situations. Enemies are diverse enough to require tactical adjustments, though their artificial intelligence reflects the limitations of the era. Battles are energetic and often chaotic, especially when navigating tight corridors or larger open chambers. One of Eradicator’s more distinctive technical features is the ability to toggle between first-person and third-person perspectives. While the first-person view aligns with genre standards, the optional third-person mode offers a broader view of the environment, which can aid in spatial awareness. This flexibility was relatively uncommon at the time and demonstrates the developers’ willingness to experiment with perspective in pursuit of a more versatile experience. Visually, Eradicator utilizes a 2.5D engine typical of mid-90s shooters. Environments are constructed using sector-based design, resulting in layered but angular spaces. Textures and lighting are characteristic of the era, and while they may appear dated to modern players, they capture the aesthetic of early polygonal experimentation. Atmospheric elements such as industrial interiors, alien laboratories, and fortified installations contribute to a cohesive science fiction setting. Sound design reinforces the tone, with weapon effects and ambient audio adding intensity to firefights. From a modern perspective, some aspects inevitably feel aged. Movement and aiming lack the fluidity of contemporary shooters, and visual clarity can occasionally be compromised by darker environments or limited texture detail. However, these characteristics are also part of its historical charm. The Steam re-release preserves the original experience while ensuring compatibility with modern hardware, allowing new players to experience it as it was originally intended. Ultimately, Eradicator represents a fascinating snapshot of 1990s shooter design. It blends action, exploration, and mission objectives in a way that reflects both the ambitions and limitations of its era. While it may not rival the genre’s most celebrated classics, it offers depth, replayability, and a distinct identity that rewards players interested in retro FPS history. For enthusiasts of early 3D shooters, it stands as a worthwhile and atmospheric journey into the experimental years of the genre’s evolution. Rating: 7/10
