Equinox: Homecoming

The game is just great. When I bought it, I couldn't have imagined that I would be so drawn into the plot. It's very interesting to play the game, sometimes it even gets scary (for me personally). The music is perfectly matched to such frightening moments, making me shake more and more with fear. I would like to touch upon the issue of donations. It's quite possible to do without a subscription, gold, etc. in the game, you just have to level up a little longer, but I don't see any particular disadvantage in this. Special respect to the developers for this. Mega pleasant cut scenes that are incredibly interesting to look at, and the best part is that they can be reviewed. I'm more than happy with the graphics, considering that the game was released 4 months ago. This project has great potential and a great future. I'm excited about the game.

The only reason I have about three hours of playtime is because character creation took me forever. I already wasn't a fan of the customization options, so I spent a long time trying to make a character I actually liked. Once I finally got into the gameplay, I was really disappointed. The dialogue feels repetitive, and the voice acting made me cringe more often than not. I even asked some other players what they thought, and most of them said they mainly play the game when they're bored, which didn't exactly inspire confidence. I was hoping for a horse game with an engaging mystery and meaningful exploration, but instead it felt like an endless loop of NPCs asking me to fetch items or craft things for them. Unfortunately, that's just not the kind of gameplay I was looking for. I really wanted to enjoy this game, but it just wasn't what I expected, so I ended up refunding it.

Equinox: Homecoming ist ein spannendes Open-World-Pferdeabenteuer mit einer geheimnisvollen Geschichte. Man erkundet gemeinsam mit seinem Pferd eine große Insel und versucht, das Verschwinden der eigenen Mutter sowie den mysteriösen Tod einer Bewohnerin aufzuklären. Neben der Hauptgeschichte gibt es Rennen, Quests und viele Möglichkeiten, die Spielwelt zu entdecken. Besonders überzeugen die schöne Grafik, die stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre und die Kombination aus Pferdespiel und Mystery-Abenteuer. Die Geschichte bleibt durch ihre überraschenden Wendungen interessant. Insgesamt ist Equinox: Homecoming ein gelungenes Spiel für alle, die Pferde, Erkundung und spannende Geschichten mögen. :) Ps ich selber habe mit Pferden im Rl leider nichts zu tun. Ich habe sehr lange die Demo gespielt bis ich mir das gesamt Paket gekauft habe also nicht wundern für die Eine Stunde, in der demo hatte ich weit mehr xD

First, I didn't buy this game for the horses. I read a review that briefly described the lost person/murder mystery turned supernature. And the questing is the primary thing I like about this game. It's set in the present in an isolated community. As a player, you are returning home because your mother has disappeared but that's not all... And I've discovered that I like the horses as well, not just as a mount to get to the quests faster. There are areas you can go alone or with others to trail ride, multiplayer 'capture the flag' type events, and racing. A large variety of repeatable weeklies provide a secondary way to level up, get currency, and reputation. You access most of these on your cell phone which also serves as a tool for other features, such as signing up for events and tracking progress. The only thing you can't do with the phone (yet) is take selfies - that seems like an easy update. The only thing I wish was different about Equinox is that their isn't really any player choice/impact on the quest lines. You can choose to do or not do a quest and very rarely you can choose between a couple of responses (usually not) but your choices don't seem to change the outcome or impact reputation. It's a very interesting but linear story. I've just finished chapter 3, leveled my first horse to level 50, and joined a riding club. I'm really looking forward to the next chapters of the main story and building relationships with the various factions. Another plus is that you can buy coins but you can also earn them through playing the game.
