About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.

I need more!

Act 1 is solid, and looking forward to Act 2! - combat is solidly tactical without being overbearing. everything has a tradeoff, which I found fun. - the writing is excellent. each important NPC you engage with feels unique and fully realized - love this vision of a dank, decaying, and ancient world that mixes the medieval and the technological. it pairs well with the aggressive demake aesthetic if I had one critique, it does feel like the difficulty needs some tuning, because I found it to be a lot easier than I was expecting. I played on hard mode from the jump, and while the very beginning was a little tough, as soon as I started getting companions it was fairly trivial from there. I never bought extra help, I just used the 3 companions the game gives you for free. no one in my party ever took a wound. nobody ever got knocked down. and by the time I got to the final dungeon of Act 1 I was demolishing battles without getting touched.

One of the most fantastically unique games I've ever played. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone.
Pretty fun PS1 JRPG game with a western mix with a kind of D&D ruleset? finished the early access, and found myself wanting more.
