If you played the first game and enjoyed it, I would highly recommend that you play the second game to continue the story! Overall, there are many improvements from the original game. The visuals in this game are amazing and beautifully done. The 3d effects in this game look really good especially compared to the first game, and there is much more detail and environmental story telling in the levels. I like that you can go back to past levels, whether you missed something, or if your going back after finishing the game just to look back. The monsters in this game are really well done too. I won't go into too much detail, but the way they move feels much more organic, and fact that so much is done with so few just like the first game is incredible. SPOILER WARNING: Despite all of these great things, the ending was super sudden, and very inconclusive. It felt like it was setting up for another game, even though that probably won't happen. Too many questions are left unanswered, like if Cynte escapes, or if the parasite is gone for good, or if Cynte can get rid of his parasite. Even the death of Luce at the end of the bossfight was unbelievably anticlimactic, with Luce's head just exploding. No final words, no falling, no nothing. The body literally just stands there as you leave to the dead end hallway that leaves the player on a cliffhanger. Despite how much the ending drags this game down, I would still recommend to anyone who liked Endoparasitic.

its kind of a sidegrade to endoparasitic 1 rather than a straight upgrade but endoparasitic 1 was fun so its ok. final boss is really fun. lack of endless mode is bs tho
You think the game is easy and then the game is not easy.
COOL GAME
I liked it
The first game is close to perfect, so I REALLY wanted to like this game - but I just can't. It is far too strict with its resource management, leaving you close to softlocked in multiple areas unless you have the foresight to retry for a perfect run every single time.
This game is a major improvement on the first game! I love the crafting system and the new inventory! I've 100% the first game and loved it but this game is a different story. Specifically hard mode. I got the game after the changes to the levels and hard mode and, hard mode on this game is very unfair. I can not for the life of me go past level nine with any ammo. Please make hard mode fair! all it needs is more item spawns so that ammo is less scarce or less enemies because hard mode is just unplayable.
Sometimes, you're given the exact amount of bullets to kill all enemies, so if you miss a headshot or bodyshot by accident, you'll have no choice but load another save where you didn't mess up Now it could be that I'm just bad at videogames... but bullets being a resource that you need to account for doesn't seem to work that well here at least until you get access to other ways to get bullets ignoring all of that and the fact that i haven't beaten the game yet, it's a pretty cool experience 9.1/10
very fun game, makes me actually have to use my brain, there is a lot of trial and error involved so make sure to use saves, ripped off my limbs except my right arm irl to immerse myself in the experience
