A tactical sci-fi RPG set in an alternative 1970's, where an enormous and inexplicable artifact –the Dome– is discovered in a remote desert. Fight enemies, explore the anomalous wasteland, level up your character, join one of the forces in the ruined world.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

great game. recommended
Under normal circumstances, I'd simply say that this is an average RPG with a unique setting and some fairly cryptic mechanics, and leave it at that. HOWEVER.. You really, really want to play this one for the overwhelming reason that playing a character with very, VERY low intelligence is absolute comedy gold. For the low price, being stupid has never been so much fun!
crpg gold
Good RPG similar to Fallout 1 + 2. Ended a bit abruptly.
Amazing sci-fi CRPG. Must have.
Encased is a Russian game. It offers a fun, turn-based cRPG with survival elements, made in the style of Fallout 1 and 2, but with better graphics and mechanics. It's strongest in its setting - the is by far the closest to Strugatskies' Roadside Picnic, arguably more so than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The game certainly have no shortage of strange things, interesting locales and NPCs with their own many political factions. However, it doesn't capitalise on any of that. The game desperately wants to show you that not only multiple different actions can be correct, but all actions are correct. There are no significant consequences, no emotional investment, and no real hardships. I played only on the 2nd difficulty, but it doesn't look like the game will much harder on the higher ones - it'll only be more tedious: The crafting mechanic is useless, because it's always better to wait until you find or can buy better equipment, than to waste crafting materials on anything other than the handful of unique weapons (all of which, except one, are used by your companions). Survival is also easy - you'll be have difficulty in the early stages of Chapter 1, but after you've reached Magellan you should be settled for life - robbing travelling merchants gives you all the money you'll ever need with no consequences, and food and ammo will become plentiful. The game is also heavily front-loaded - there are more people in Magellan than there are new people in all of Chapter 2, making the second chapter rather flat. Not only that, but your character level will be so high in Chapter 2 that you'll be able to easily tank most encounters by yourself and reach master in most skills. Not a bad game, but not a good one either.
A must if your're an OG Fallout fan
