For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wanted to like this game but it's just not finished enough for that. This game is a work in progress, it should have never left early access in this state. I think there's a strong base for a good game, but for now it has failed to materialize. It often looks, feels, and plays more like a mod trying its best to make something work with an engine that the devs can't change, rather than a full released game. The game looks okay most of the time, the animations are pretty bad, the models are pretty bad, there is no set art-style, textures for blocks are not very good, don't always fit together, and sometimes the tiling is bad. Some UI components are polished, but then you have random bits that are horrendous. I don't know how it's possible for a game released in 2020, that was in early access since 2015, and that still sees updates, to have such wild swings on quality. Most of the UI screens are serviceable, if inelegant, but some UI textures are crusty and the on/off switches look like they have been lifted from an other game. A lot of interactions are done through objects that will display a text message on screen, and then you can choose an action in a dialog box, and it's always very bad. There is multi colored text for no reason, the system is awkward and used in lieu of actual interfaces (for example, interacting with a console will prompt you whether you want to shop or read the news or whatever). This makes it feels very cheap and ad-hoc. The world is not really continuous. Unlike Space Engineers for example, when you get close to a planet with your ship, there will be a (quite fast) loading. As far as I can tell the planets are actually rectangular maps that loop East-West to make circumnavigation possible, and with some fog trickery at the poles. I don't think that this is an issue, but I also don't know how this plays out on servers, if you are in a fight and "escape" to or from a planet. Talking about multiplayer, it's working quite nicely, but there is a massive issue, that comes very close to making the game absolutely unplayable: Only one player can access a control panel or a storage unit at a time. I don't have the words to explain how horrible this is in practice when you are playing with a friend and you're continually stepping on each other's feet, I think this is the single worst issue of this game.
This game has SO MUCH potential, when it works is fun, expansive, creative and wonderful. Sadly, these are the worst developers possible of our generation. They rarely update content or more importantly fix bugs and they have never once dreamed of optimizing this game, IT RUNS LIKE @SS on a decently spec-ed PC. From simple physics engine limitations to lazy coding like weapons numbers USABLE at one time to your world out right deleting itself this game is a hot pile of garbage sometimes, and it feels like the developer just don't care to make it a good game and have ruined a potentially GREAT game. Note a team of modders for Reforged Eden have more passion and love for this game then the developers, but are limited in what they can do to fix the crap software of the core game despite making a slew of amazing content the developer ARE ALSO incapable of.
Game is a lot jankier than it should be for how long it's been out. I love the concept and the galaxy but the combat, both human and ship is very crude. Plus the volume system is horrible, you need to "link" to cargo containers to place big things, or any number of things you can't carry in your inventory due to taking up too much space. But until you get a base you can't place cargo containers. Imagine building in Minecraft but you can only carry 4 blocks at a time. That's what early game base building is here. I wish there was a game exactly like this, but did it well, because I'd love to be able to build ships and space stations and colonize a galaxy that way, but this isn't it.
lame ass achievements like "come play within a month of this date or you can never earn the blue ribbon for this game". straight up trash devs for that one
This is a very well rounded game. alot of fun. It can get as technical as YOU want it to get. If you want to hang out on the starter planets with the Bobs and stay simple and play EASY and RELAXING, you can. If you want to space travel 1,000 light years from the viking bay Bobs,, then get busy, get technical, and build a ship that can take you there. Go find an unexplored galaxy & star system where i promise you wont see any other players. Go find a nice habital planet to call your own and build to your hearts content. If joining up with a tribe and staying on a populated planet with a community is your thing, you can do that too. We like to get at least 400 light years away from the starters, its in teleport range but far enough out we very rarely ever see anyone. Build mechanics can be very simple and basic to highly technical. All depending on what YOU want to do , and WHERE you want to go. There is NEVER any shortage of things to do. Go to close planets explore, gather resources, or go raiding POI's for goodies and get into battles with un friendly aliens who dont want you raiding their bases. battle on foot on planets or in space with enemy ships. but be careful, some of these alien factions are tough as nails and can kick your butt and blow up your ship.. But,,,, the tougher the alien factions, the more valuable the loot. Some factions can be friendly and after doing a few jobs for them, they will open their stores up and trade with you. Some factions are extremely dangerous and will attack you on sight. Some factions space areas are pretty safe, some are extremely dangerous, some zones are even pvp. So pay attention. . Your relationships with the aliens in your world is 95% totally based on your own interactions with those aliens. If you attack them, be prepared for revenge. They will also send ships out and attack your base in return. Explore with caution because there WILL BE CONSEQUENCES. Good tutorials. It starts out easy and as you learn HOW to play the game, then gets progressively harder. As you progess, build better weapons and better ships so you can travel further, fight & raid tougher aliens, and gather higher end materials to build even better stuff. So you can ease into learning. This game can literally get as tough and technical as YOU want to make it. Or be as easy and relaxing as you make it. I highly recommend this game to all ages. AFTER 3880 hours, its still NOT boring and we are still learning and exploring.
DISCLAIMER:
I HIGHLY suggest playing this game with Reforged Eden 2 mod/scenario, it adds so much content, and makes the game SO much better, you have no idea. I've gobbled up 200+ hours of this game in like a couple of weeks, and I'm honestly in love with it. Granted that I'm getting close to the endgame very soon, and it saddens me a bit, but come on, 200+ hours as a baseline for content is pretty amazing. RE2 has a giant galaxy with a ton of factions, missions, stories, creepy spooky locations and many more other amazing things. There are a bunch of pretty rough edges (the most jarring are probably the non-rotating night sky when you're flying around moons, while the surrounding celestial bodies ARE rotating, and the ridiculous space distances which should be measured in thousands of kilometers, instead are measured in... just kilometers. Space doesn't really feel big at all, it's quite immersion breaking). The character animations are also pretty bad, devs should probably make them a LITTLE bit better. Anyway, with a handful of patches and adjustments, this might become the best space game currently on the market. That's coming from someone who has over 1300 hours in Elite: Dangerous and an avid Freelancer lover...
Requires Easy Anti Cheat. Refuses to flip the switch to allow Linux Proton users. So this game get's a big fat NO from me. Enjoy the AIDS that is Windows 11.
