Such a simple, yet beautiful game. Brings back lots of nostalgia from older games that got me hooked into games. Design, music, mechanics, all seems to match really well. I loved it.
A very short and simple game suitable for children. The gameplay is simply to jump and dash until you kill the enemies by jumping on them. Were you able to add dashing, jumping, and hitting too difficult for you?
cool peace game, no stress....hahaha

Great game, disappointing ending tho.
Elysian Siege is a short platformer that I found surprisingly enjoyable because it puts almost all of its attention on movement. I play as Keziah, a newly appointed Enforcer serving the goddess Anthea, and my job is to push through a corrupted temple while searching for the Tear of Creation. I liked how quickly the game gets me moving instead of spending too much time on complicated systems. The platforming is easily the strongest part for me. I can jump on enemies, dash through them, bounce off walls, climb vines and glide through sections of the temple. The different movement abilities work nicely together, and I enjoyed figuring out how to chain them together to get through obstacles quickly. It gives the game a nice feeling of momentum, especially when I start getting more confident with the controls. Combat is fairly simple, but it fits the platforming well. Enemies and traps are placed around the levels to make me think about my movement while also reacting quickly. I liked that falling into trouble does not feel overly punishing, since Keziah can be brought back by Anthea's power. That makes dying feel more like part of learning the level rather than something that completely stops my progress. The temple itself has a nice fantasy atmosphere. The combination of natural environments, divine architecture and corrupted areas gives the game a colorful visual identity. I also liked the idea of the temple spirits needing to be saved from the corruption, because it gives the otherwise straightforward platforming a little more purpose. The story is fairly simple, but it works well enough for the short adventure. My biggest issue is the amount of content. Elysian Siege is very short, and the experience feels more like a focused student project than a large Metroidvania adventure. There are not enough areas, abilities or enemy types to make the adventure feel especially deep, and I was left wanting more just as I was getting comfortable with the movement. The game also originally entered Early Access in an unfinished state, so some rough edges are understandable. I did enjoy the challenge of trying to improve my movement and complete the levels more efficiently. The achievement challenges give me another reason to revisit sections after finishing them, especially if I want to get better at handling the platforming. I think the developers made the right choice by keeping the game focused rather than adding a lot of unnecessary mechanics. Overall, Elysian Siege is a charming little action platformer with enjoyable movement, a pleasant fantasy setting and some satisfying traversal. It is definitely too short and could use more content, but the core platforming feels good enough that I would happily play a larger version with more abilities, environments and challenges. For a free project, I think it is a worthwhile short adventure. Rating: 6.9/10
Elysian Siege: Your New Favorite Platformer That Feels Like Prince of Persia’s Fun Cousin!

If you love Prince of Persia: Lost Crown but want a twist of wild magic and some laugh-out-loud moments, Elysian Siege is your go-to! It’s a platformer packed with slick moves, tricky jumps, and enemies that seem to have taken comedy lessons. The action is fast, the levels are challenging, and the whole vibe is like your favorite classic with a crazy new spin.
Funny, the graphics and music reminds me my childhood (first adventure game I've played).
