Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 18/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

i have around 5k hours on console and making the switch to odyssey is so good with all the new content, even on low powered laptop it still runs really smooth, would 100% recommend this game to literally anyone.
Non intuitive, very bad tutorial that doesn't quite even go through how to do the 1st mission. You can easily get lost, controls are super wonky on keyboard and mouse, unless you have a joystick flying will be hell, unless you spend 30 minutes trying to fix controls. Resolution and textures were really bad even tho game is "supposed to get right settings" that ive spent first 20 minutes trying to play it in 2k. I wouldnt recommend. Also with high end consumer pc, ive only managed to get 79fps max, and it even dipped below 60 which is crazy. Loging in was hell forcing me to make some weird account with frontier, and it didnt even wanna link on steam i had to troubleshoot that for 30 minutes just to start the game.
muy bueno, tiene bastantes cosas para hacer, recomendable.
Great Game!
It's a good game with a lot of depth and interesting game loops. The only downside is that they don't always do a good job of explaining to the player what they actually need to do in many situation. The rely heavily of plethora data available on the net. The problem with that however is that you are often sifting through information that is out of data. They don't make it easy for someone to play it, you have to want it in some respects. In all honesty if they focused more on the polish and mechanics of the game and provided more digestable information it would widen the audience more significantly than any new features ever could.
got one bounty and then boom stuck no way to leave no way to call a ship almost no creddits left i am stuck in some bar witch i cant even get a ship to and i got no way of knowing if i am going the right way
It's very good
Ever since Mass Effect, I've had the urge to play a space sim that actually let you explore the universe. Starfield was a massive disappointment, No Man's Sky was fun, but tedious, and Star Citizen is a cash grab. Elite Dangerous is almost exactly what I was looking for. A 1:1 recreation or our own galaxy is pretty amazing, and really feels like an entire Universe to explore. The game is deep and challenging, where Starfield was shallow and, arguably, too easy. The grind is still interesting and fun, where I found NMS boring and repetitive. ED offers a huge variety of missions and activities to engage the player, and focuses on realism over casaul mechanics. NMS feels, to me, like the arcade version of ED. The best part is, in 2026, you can enjoy the whole game for under $10. I want to emphasize that the challenge of Elite Dangerous is a huge factor in why I enjoy it so much. When I started playing, I cleared my save a dozen times due to the learning curve. Even after the tutorial, it takes some time to learn how to prevent mission failures, evade ruthless pirates gangs, and avoid crashing into a space port. The game can be quite harsh and unforgiving at times, but that it honestly an important part of the realism and the reason it feels so rewarding to complete missions and progress through the game. The grind can be tedious at times, like NMS, but you can always just find something else to do or explore, and the grind actually feels rewarding. It is more than just: fly to another procedurally generated planet, mine ore, scan the lifeform, return to ship. While ED is also procedural, there is enough variation and diversity that it never really feels that way. I only began playing this game recently. So I missed a lot of the lore and the major events. Other players are quite often PVP griefers who will shoot you down for no other reason than you were a blip on their radar. There is little room for error and you will find yourself in plenty of unfair situations, which all adds to the realism of the game. Because of the cutthroat nature of open play, it makes perfect sense to just play solo in the beginning, which I usually do, and it takes nothing away from the experience. I find myself playing solo to grind, upgrade my ships/weapons, and then go open to interact with other players, either cooperating on missions or dogfighting around Nav Beacons or extraction zones. I hope there is more coming, as far as multi-player events and challenges, but even still, there is more than enough reason to play Elite Dangerous, if you are interested in playing an epic space simulator that is challenging and immersive.
