Update: Okay, I got an ending, and now that I have, I can't recommend this game. I managed to get to the end, by acquiring a bunch of gems. I had a thief "pop" out three items and then I used the green herbs to duplicate them, and so I cheesed getting a bunch of gems in order to bribe the fourth ghost--the bare minimum amount of ghosts to open up the tasking final rooms before the last boss. Once I got through those final rooms, I felt accomplished. However, that accomplishment was pretty much over as soon as I fought the boss, who felt really unintuitive when I was fighting. That in and of itself is fine, but the insult to injury was that it makes you go through all of the final levels again, if you want to even try fighting the last boss again. I don't understand the logic behind that. It just feels like bad/sadist design. There's only one guide on the steam pages, and that is specifically for the final boss, which writes that you shouldn't even engage with the final boss before having all seven ghosts. I had to cheese getting four. I like to think I'm up for a good challenge, but this game is just not for me. Original Review: I really don't want to recommend this game. But I hate beating up on a lone dev for working their heart out to make something special, and I want them to keep making games. I loved the prequel game too, but this game felt like too much for me. Here's a brief overview of how I feel playing this game: Beginning - Wow, there's a lot of stuff to explore, and it really throws you in the deep end. Plus, it's taking A LOT of time to explore. I don't really feel like persevering, but I paid for this, so I'll keep banging my head against the wall until I figure out where to go. Middle - I'm glad I persevered, this game is great and has loads of secrets and I'm finally opening up some areas. Exploring finally feels fun! End - Welp, I feel like I've explored everything I can. Now every place has lead to a dead end, or a puzzle that is so obtuse, that I can't figure it out. I don't want to feel like I'm banging my head against the wall anymore. If that sounds like fun to you, then buy this game. I'm going to to play a little more, to give it the college try, but I really feel like I've lost all sense of enjoyment playing this.

Love this game! Elephantasy goes isometric pseudo 3d! (go play the first one if you haven't. It's a fantastic platformer!) This time around it's more of an experimental sandbox. Searching the edges of precisely-designed diorama zones for purchase to new areas. Juggling a bunch of items and trying to figure out what they do. It's quite a cozy world Linker has dreamed up for us!
Played an hour of this. A lot of interesting mechanics. Sorta feels like a modern take of Zelda 1.
NICE !!!
very fun
Lovely, esoteric non-linear puzzle adventure with immersive-sim qualities. It's really good.
good job
this is like playing zelda but you dont have a nintendo power magazine or the internet to help you
