This game is the Madness! Get it, play it, get all the achievements!
This game has promise, but it should not have been released in the state it presently is in, even as Early Access. It's clearly the dev's first effort, and it's commendable in a lot of ways; the bones of a good game are here. But there are multiple bugs, some game-breaking, as well as some serious design flaws and even a few "first-time game maker" mistakes (like not checking for bullet collision along the bullet's path each frame, only where the bullet actually ends up, causing high-speed bullets to literally teleport through enemies instead of hitting them). It's out, and I'm not going to ask for a refund because I think the dev will do right eventually, but I hope that people will take it to heart that Early Access is for beta releases, not alpha releases. I will change my review to a recommend when the game has reached a state of completion where I can in good conscience recommend it. EDIT: after a couple rounds of mechanical and visual upgrades by the dev, I think the game is at a point where the price is justified. Things work the way they should, with a few minor bugs still present here and there, and the systems have been overhauled to feel less unbalanced. Controller mapping is still an issue, but it's not a deal-breaker and the dev intends to add it; and in the meantime the reworking of auto-aim and auto-fire has taken a lot of the pain from playing with a controller. Worth a look if you like this kind of game, and it's likely to continue improving.

good from what I can see, but the game crashes upon startup if you're trying to play with controller..
dev improved controller support on deck which is cool.
Pretty fun early access twin stick shooter. Gives me 20 Minutes Until Dawn Vibes. There could be some improvements to sound and meta progression, but there's a strong base here. Hope the developer continues to cook.
At some point in 2025 I was able to play this game for 12 minutes and the achievements indicate it actually worked. Now, a year later, I start the game and it seems bugged. After starting a game and getting the lore text, it pulses "Press any key to begin" but no key on keyboard, mouse, or controller does anything. This is the case on both desktop PC and Steam Deck. Game broke at some point and the discussion board indicates another abandoned early access title. Avoid this one.
