Ducks in Disguise

I bought this game because it said it was hand drawn, but it is quite clearly AI. I would avoid this!

If you love AI, then youre gonna be happy with your purchase. This is 100% not hand drawn.

If you have a widescreen monitor you wont be able to play this game. There was no way to change the resolution so you can never see the full image. (Meaning you cant move on to any other levels.) It also lowk looks like AI, I could be wrong but it looks a little odd. Very sad this game didn't end up working for me :c

Ducks in Disguise is a typical hidden object game. However, instead of looking for cats or snails, you are on the prowl for yellow ducks who quack when discovered. The game presents 24 black-and-white scenes, each containing 10-25 “hidden” ducks. Despite the title, these ducks are not particularly well disguised. The hardest to find are those seen from a “top-down” view. The astute observer is likely to complete each level in less than a couple of minutes. When all ducks have been found, the picture is shown in bright colors. Note that you cannot return to a completed scene to view it in color. Although the “completed” status is retained, the art defaults back to black-and-white when revisited. Your progress is saved after a scene is completed. If you leave a specific screen without finding all ducks, you will need to restart it when you return. Steam achievements are supported. You can easily earn 100% by finishing the game and reading the achievement descriptions for the few that can be missed. There are 7 “special” ducks which, when found, appear as stickers in an album. These are earned in the first 8 scenes which leads me to believe that the developer grew tired of adding unique ducks and just skipped the last 16 levels. Perhaps these will be added later? There is a timed hint function which recharges at a reasonable rate and there is no penalty for using hints. I do not believe a zoom function has been implemented. All in all, this is a rather mediocre hidden object game that takes very little time/effort. For me, it was not all it was quacked up to be and I wish I could give it a neutral review. I did not find the art or music to be particularly compelling. In short, Ducks in Disguise accomplishes the basics but did not create a world that pulled me in. I would recommend it only if you need a “duck” fix and have exhausted other more fun-filled options (such as the Find 100 Ducks and Blast Them titles). At first I thought its a super cute game about finding hidden duckies until I realized the "art" is AI

100% in 30 min... doesn't look like it is actually hand-drawn. more like ai crap.

Terrible behavior to claim your art is hand drawn when in fact you generated it with AI, but even worse behavior when you generate the art for a game where the art is the only defining feature from others in the genre. Do not buy this game
