Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Everything you see in Effulgence RPG is built from text characters arranged into 3D forms. Landscapes, creatures, machines and effects come to life as these forms move, rotate and transform throughout a strange sci-fi world.
Defeated enemies break apart into particles. Collect them and use the matter printer to create new weapons and equipment. You can even print during battle, turning fallen enemies into tools for the fights ahead.
Control four heroes in tactical turn-based battles, each with their own strengths and abilities. Upgrade their skills, combine weapons, cartridges and mechanisms, and adapt to enemies and bosses with their own rules and mechanics.
Effulgence RPG is a focused adventure that doesn't demand a hundred-hour commitment. A typical playthrough takes around 5–7 hours, with varied locations, story encounters, secrets and bosses along the way.
Three types of mini-games woven into the adventure
Deploy unusual mechanisms, from a combat sparrow to a flamethrower copter
Bosses built around unique mechanics
Dozens of blueprints for printable weapons, gear, and mechanisms

Reviews
This is a soft reccomend, the gameplay as it stand is short and limited and the story mostly exists as a joke, however, it's absolutely beautiful to see and play.
Very early gameplay at the moment. I enjoyed it, but the current build does not have as much as what is in the current video on the front advertisement. Dev clearly has a grasp of the visual engine, but needs to do the back-end coding for the content. To my pals who read my reviews, I'll let you know when it goes 1.0.

TL:DR; A beautiful 3D ASCII ART sci-fi rogue-lite game with potential.
Pros

Beautiful ASCII ART but in 3D!
Funny and snarky dialogue.
Great music.
Developer has been receptive to feedback.
Interesting blend of turn-based and real-time combat.

Cons

Can't replay completed zones to farm materials. :-(
What happens on death isn't exactly explained. Without the ability to replay zones you can technically "pseudo-soft-lock" your progress having no guns and only have health as a weapon.
No replay value (yet).
Not enough content (yet). Can finish of all Early Access content in an hour or two.
Can't skip the tutorial.
UI feels a little cluttered showing both Keyboard + Gamepad buttons for UI.
Some people won't enjoy the rogue-lite aspect.

Bugs

For me, my Steam Library shows that I have the ASCII Animations Supporter Pack but in-game it always shows I need to claim this. I also don't see a way to access this in Extras.
The
Cyber Well
doesn't list your health so you don't know how much to heal.
Tutorial showcases
The Injector
but doesn't mention you DON'T start with one.

Score

Fun: 5/5
Graphics: 5/5
Music: 4/5
UI: 4/5
Replay: 0/5 (at time of writing)
Value: 3.5/5 (this will go up as more content is added)

Summary
If you love old "skool" ASCII ART or rogue-lite games this is a gem in the making. Early Access can be a hit (Satisfactory) or a miss (Heartbound) but if the developer can deliver 1) content and 2) replayability this could be something special to keep your eye on! P.S. This game NEEDS a "screensaver" mode of the beautiful animated zones! EDIT: Move one con to a bug.
I tried the version 1.0 and it wasn't for me. I was exited for the ASCII-animations which are great. But the game feels just like an animated card game to me. You don't get to walk around in locations or overworld map or anywhere like you would in many RPGs. It's only turn based combats and menus. If you like that kind of game then I guess it's alright but I think expectation management would be in a key role here. Story and dialog writing seems quite absent and it feels like wackyness is used as an excuse for it. Meh.

relatively straightforward yet somewhat esoteric in its presentation. a good time with some absolutely gorgeous visuals, but not my first recommendation for someone in terms of RPGs? there's no real grinding, you kind of go through the motions and clear stages and the occasional event. story feels thin but it's good! it's fun! it's also relatively short which is good because the game feels relatively simple in terms of what it wants to do mechanically so not being 20 hours long is great. the game does some good bits like weapon accuracy / crit rate being tied to distance vs character, needing to swap your party order to absorb damage, waiting for enemies to be grouped up for explosives and so on. it's less involved in terms of the rest of the management, but you aren't mashing attack the entire playthrough and that's nice. there's a couple minigames shoved in there and they're also okay, didn't hate them but still glad there's a bit of diversity in things you can do in a playthrough. some criticism i suppose is that the UI sometimes gets in the way (especially the top one) in combat. there's buttons you can press to temporarily hide it but i feel like i shouldn't have to do that. also played it with a controller and it felt a bit awkward at first to do so - the game feels kind of designed for a keyboard (being ASCII and all) and so while it's playable it might feel less than desirable for some people. game also feels like it lacks a tiny bit of tuning (the last few areas feel particularly punishing) but once again it's short enough that i feel like i can somewhat forgive it all. i think it's worth giving it a shot? there's nothing really bad or egregious here, just a relatively short and swell time. if it was longer i think it would edge way too into "too much" territory but as it stands the relatively short runtime is what keeps the whole thing together.
