This game was gifted to me by a friend and I had my doubts at first. We were looking for a multiplayer shoot-em-up, if you will, and this is what he landed on. We downloaded it and I had to go to bed. The next morning, I get up to find out that he's completed much more of the game than he meant to so I have to catch up. I boot up the game, do the tutorial area, and accidentally wind up in the hardest section of the game, kicking butt, I might add. You can go anywhere, do any Scan (which are the missions that give you perks, hats, or guns), anywhere in the world, no matter your progression. I very quickly found out that this game is for the kind of person that wants to skate around each level, blowing dozens of people up. It's for the kind of person that wants to beat a Scan by ramming people off of the level into the abyss and laughing maniacally. It's for the kind of person that wants to use the perk that restores your jumps after each kill and veritably fly during each Scan. It's for the kind of person that wants to explore every single nook and cranny finding Agility Orbs and Hats and potentially doing what I did and flying off into space at 31,000 km/h seeing if I could reach the Sun. Or even just the kind of person that wants all of that in a responsive, fast-paced, expansive shooting game; and have to ability to do so with a friend or 3. There's so much I could go into and I've not even played it for a tremendous amount of time but honestly, I feel like it's about quality, not quantity. I will give a small description, though: Echopoint Nova is kind of like mixing a bit of Breathe of the Wild story with Haste and Skate Story movement then mixing that with Doom and upgrading guns. It has 3 mini-bosses that give you Air, Freeze, and Fire powers that help you jump, freeze the ground to skate faster, and propel you forwards, respectively. You have to get all of the scans, all of the powers, and it would be helpful to get all of the agility orbs and hats as they increase your ability to grapple and equip perks, in order to stop the Big Bad from using these powers to take over the world. Even after you beat the Big Bad, there's bonus Scans on each old Scan for more perks; and that's before you even get to New Game+, Rogue Mode, or the DLC. Very rarely do I write reviews but if there's anybody with any doubts like I had, get the game, seriously, you won't regret it.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 2 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Got all achivements for the game(which is rare for me to do) and all I can say is this game is peak(at least as a movement shooter). If you like movement shooters, this is a MUST play.
the visuals to me are kinda generic or even boring and dialogue/story feel more like fluff than anything else but the shooting and moving is so good that i don't mind, honestly.
Fast-paced power fantasy FPS. Running, jumping and basically flying around can be a lot of fun. The mobility you have in this game makes you completely overpowered as it allows you to easily dodge and outrange the otherwise very lethal enemies, which eventually makes most enemy encounters trivial. The encounters got a bit too repetitive for me after a few hours, but I still had a lot of fun playing this game.
beautiful game thats just as good as severed steel edit: since the dev guy reads over feedback (or i think from the dlc), the perk system and how it works with the hats could've been better. If you collect throughout the game, by the end of the main story you can basically use every perk you've obtained
Bro this ♥♥♥♥ is actually so fire, i haven't had so much fun in so long, the gameplay loop is so enjoyable, and playing with friends is the most tense, funniest, ♥♥♥♥ ever.
One of the greatest FPS games I've played, right next to RoboQuest and UltraKill. The movement and gun systems just flow so fricking well. It can literally feel like FPS heaven. The game is absolutely worth the price.
Fast paced and freeform, a great no filler game for people who enjoy FPS games.
