Jim wasn't always a studly super-worm. He was once just a spineless, dirt-eater with no real mission in his life...

i really love earhworm jim franchise !but the port is broken and some of the soundtracks are missing and all of the sound effects from earthworm jim 2 ! earthworm jim2 only have music with no sound effect !

+ classic earthworm jim - DOS version which is inferior to Genesis SNES and especially SegaCD versions - barely runs out of the box (possible to run it decently with some configs from the forums)
I bought this Collection a long time ago before the though of refunds even be a thing, this trilogy is a compilation from the worst EWJ ports for PC. The first 2 games are butchered and lack the most basic levels that appear on every single version on the consols (including some of them that are on the pics show case leading to false advertisement) and uses an "outdated" DOSBOX emulation to play . And the third game is just the cherry on the bitter cake since it universally sucked on both platforms that released. If you want a modern port to EWJ look for EWJ HD on 360 or PS3 or just look for that Special Edition released on Windows 95/Sega CD that is better than this "thing",
It's fun* to read all these reviews by DOTA zombies who never tried DOS gaming. * not really
A no-effort money grab. This is a hackneyed dosbox setup (even after applying the fan patch) of the DOS port complete with bugs and absent audio. Controller input is only possible through joy2key or similar. With this, you're effectively paying for an experience that's completely inferior to and vastly more inconvenient than that attainable with an emulator. To top it all off, this is absurdly overpriced even on sale. Absolutely shameless. Avoid this travesty of a cash-in attempt like the plague.
Twenty Dollars? I don't remember paying that for this. I paid $2.99 for all three games. Would definitely recommend. . . on a different port. The xbox 360 had a good port, and the DSi had a good port. However here the controls are a bit wonky, and the gameplay is kind of poor. Honestly, I got it at a good price, don't get 90's tech for any more than what it's worth today. Which isn't much if anything at all.
fun i'm a big fan of earthworm jim, the keyboard controls were awful but once i got an xbox one controller working with it via steam's controller input editor i had a blast, the game is hard but fair such a fun challenge
Earthworm Jim is totally iconic in the 90s Nowadays, he is completely forgotten and on ice with no new games yet EWJ 1 has a silly story and nothing impressive in the sense that it is OK! The gameplay is good, since you can shoot enemies and use Jim himself to whip enemies (which is funny and even reminds us of Indiana Jones in this aspect) The difficulty... Man, some platform games in the 90s are hard on you, Earthworm Jim is no different here... You will have to eat a lot of rice and beans to have absurd patience and get 100% Remember that there is no automatic save, games from that time like this one... There are passwords to take you to a certain level So ALWAYS write it down! It is worth giving it a chance!
Unplayable. I only paid a couple of dollars for this in the most recent Autumn 2020 sale, and want my money back. An extremely bad port of a game/world I adored on the SNES when I was 10 (maybe the aesthetic was funnier then, but it isn't very entertaining now that I'm 35). Don't waste your money on this. If you want to play this game, buy an SNES and a original cartridge instead. - Resolution is locked to 640x480 and does not scale. On a 32" 1440p display, the game window was around 4 inches (10.1cm) tall by 4 inches (10.1cm) wide. I may be missing something simple, but I couldn't stand the idea of wasting any more time trying to change it. - Xbox One controller support is minimal and extremely bad. For me, the game only registered inputs from the left thumbstick and the 4 ABXY buttons, but nothing else. No Dpad, bumpers, or triggers at all. It did not register consistent diagonal directional inputs from the left thumbstick, which made movement nearly impossible to manage. - Keyboard play isn't worth the time it would take to make the controls even remotely comfortable. Leave your memories of this one in the past. Save your money, or spend it on a much more recent and far superior pixelly platformer instead. There are plenty of them out there.
