Really wish there was a neutral option for reviewing, because the game isn't bad enough to not recommend but at the same time I don't really recommend it. For the most part there's nothing really game breaking that I've encountered, the only thing that really ruined the fun for me was when I got to the 4th level (snowy area) the first enemy I encountered was a snowman that broke into 3 smaller snowmen. Cool concept but the issue was how much of a bullet sponge it was and I'm pretty sure that for each one killed the others gain a speed boost because i couldn't back away fast enough and died in mere seconds from full 3 heart health. I was using 2 of the small blasters and had been stacking projectile damage and cooldown upgrades and had beat every boss without taking damage only to get absolutely eviscerated by a small little crackhead snowman after I killed his 2 buddies which overheated my guns. I don't know, it could just be me missing something but after the first level it felt like all the enemies were slowly getting spongier with their health, ramping up to an extreme amount by the 4th level (I think the guns almost overheated breaking the big snowman then for sure after barely killing 2 of the 3 small ones). Another smaller but still very annoying issue I encountered was the crossbow was uncomfortable to use with Valve Index controllers, the angle they fire at is higher than a normal gun so I was constantly fighting to point my wrist low enough to aim properly, that was the main reason why I used the small blasters, they fired at a normal gun angle so they were much more comfortable to shoot. I'm not sure I really found the game fun after a level or so but it wasn't terrible and it seems that the devs are still somewhat active so I'll go ahead and give it a thumbs up.
A fun and small VR title that is visually pleasing and enjoyable with friends. It isn't too hard and definitely not a walk in the park. If I had to metaphorically describe it, I would say a bike ride on a rocky path. The only complaint I have is that I would not exactly consider the price at the time of this review to be fair.
Get in, pick double crossbows, peek around corners and shoot enemies, get better ranged weapon, defeat boss, eventually die, repeat 10/10, would play again
I really like this game, its a lot of fun and a bit confusing if you skip the tutorial like I did. I'm not a big fan of how you move around in the game but you can get use to it. I do wish there was more weapon choices in the game that you start out with.
Хрень полнейшая!
This game is amazing! Highly recommended :D
very charming.
Poorly optimized, jittery as hell, and it lags every time you activate the shield.
